"I don't know." I whispered. "Do you know Toby?"
"It looks a little like my mum.. maybe she had a sister." He replied. I subconsciously reached into my robe pocket and took out the picture dad gave me. When they weren't looking, I took a peek at it. I gasped loudly and quickly deposited the picture in my pocket.
"Well.. I'm sorry to leave, but I am tired. I will see you later Toby!" I said quickly and ran up the stairs. In my dormitory, I took out a piece of parchment and wrote to my dad.
Dear Dad,
I really like it here at Hogwarts. I got sorted into Gryffindor with Madeline! We've made lots of friends here, and I really like it. Of course, I miss you. How's the shop coming along? Say hi to Uncle George for me! I really like the classes here and Defense Against the Dark Arts is defintily my favorite subject.
Anyway, I'm writing this letter asking for two things. I was wondering if you could send me a couple more pictures of mum. She's just really pretty and I really like looking at her. I am also asking if you could send me a dungbomb or two... Yes, you're probably thinking, 'She's going to get into trouble.' But I won't if I don't get caught! Write me back as soon as possible!
With love, your daughter,
Arabella.
I folded up the parchment and placed it neatly in an envelope. "Amare!" I called out the window. A few minutes later, she landed on the windowsill and I put the letter into her beak. "Take this to Fred Weasley." I instructed. Without hesitation, she flew out the window. I got ready for bed not long after I sent Amare and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

The next morning, Toby, Madeline and me were sitting at the Gryffindor table, happily eating breakfast. A lot of first years in Gryffindor liked Toby, so we happily accepted him. I was just about to pour myself another glass of orange juice when the soft beat of wings was heard. Mail's here.
Owls flew about the Great Hall, dropping parcels and letters to different students. I received a reply back from my dad, and I also received a package from Uncle Harry. "What do you think it is?" Toby and Madeline asked.
"I haven't a clue... Let's open it!" I ripped open the package and inside was a book. There was also a letter, so I decided to read that first.
Dear Arabella,
Enclosed in this package is a book I've been writing for many years now. It's about my half-sister, your mother. I wrote everything I knew about her and I really hope you do enjoy it. I don't want anyone else to read it, not yet anyway.
Read through it and send it back when your done. I want to know what you think. I hope you like it, and have a great year! Albus, James, Lily and Teddy miss you loads!
Love,
Uncle Harry
"You know Harry Potter?" Toby exclaimed. Why was that so important? I nodded and snatched the book off the table. I stuffed it in my bag and went to my other letter.
Dear Bells,
I am glad you are having a great time at Hogwarts. And I'm really proud that you got sorted into Gryffindor! The shop is doing fine, by the way. And Uncle George says hi back. I hope you are doing well in all your lessons, and I'm glad you have taken a like to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Whose your teacher by the way?
Enclosed in the envelope is more pictures of me and your mum. She would have been so proud of you darling. Oh, and I also want to tell you that I will hand deliver the dungbombs today at lunch. Headmistress McGonagall has asked me to stop by for some business. I'll see you later today!
Love you, Forever and Always,
Dad
I smiled happily and tucked the letter into my robe. I gathered my things and stood up. "Where are you going?" Toby asked.
"I've got to go do something. I'll see you both in class." I said hastily before walking out of the Great Hall. I made my way to the Black Lake, where I found a comfortable spot by a log and took out the book Harry sent me. The cover read: Gone, but not Forgotten, By Harry J. Potter.
I peeled open the book and started reading.
As some of you may know, I was not an only child. I did indeed, had a half-sister, name Madeline Jane Mason, now Weasley. She was married to my brother in law, Fred Weasley and they had two children....
****A few hours later****
My sister was one of the bravest people I ever met. She was so loving, and caring. I absolutley miss her so much, and I'm sure her husband and daughter do too. I will never forget the many years we had together. Our time together was cut short, during the Battle of Hogwarts, where she was tragically killed by a supporter of You-Know-Who. But she died a hero's death, fighting for freedom.
Maddie you may be gone, but you aren't forgotten.
I closed the book and wiped the tears out of my eyes. The book was beautifully written, and it gave me knowledge about my mother, and I just couldn't have been happier. In the distance, I heard a bell chime and I froze.
"OH MY GOODNESS I MISSED TWO CLASSES! TOBY! TOBY!" I called. In an instant, Toby was at my side.
"You called?" He said, raising an eyebrow.
"Take me to your mum's class, quickly!" I said hurriedly. He gripped my arms and we orbed straight into the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. People were just arriving, so I wasn't late. "Thank you so much." I whispered, He smiled before gliding to the back office where Professor Mason probably was.
"Arabella! Where were you! You missed Transfiguration and History of Magic!" Madeline scolded, while sitting next to me.
"I'm sorry, I got caught up in something. " I whispered. The bell rang and Professor Mason glided through the door. Right, ghost, forgot.
"Books and wands away, we're talking about the Battle of Hogwarts today!" She smiled
