[Chapter Five] Total Drama's Got Talent!

Chris: "Last time on Total Drama Island! Our 20 contestants played a fierce game of dodgeball! A couple of injuries and bruises, but nothing that a flexible contract can't fix! Noah being the debby-downer he is, got the boot after as he got a not so honorable departure from the island!"

[Flashes back to you and your team throwing marshmallows at him.]

Chris: "And of course, we got to have more (Y/N) and Gwen action!"

[Flashes back to moments of you and Gwen during the dodgeball tournament.]

Chris: "Will those two finally confess to each other after five episodes of tension? What plan is Heather cooking up with Beth and Lindsay? Find out more now on Total! Drama! Island!!"

*Gwen's POV*

[It's yet another day on this stupid island.. this time, instead of Chris waking me up this time, it's Lindsay's big mouth.]

Lindsay: "Okay, this is so- way- beyond bad, I'm out of fake tanner already!" [She whines.]

Gwen: "Woah, that's tragic Lindsay.."

Lindsay: "Now I have to actually like- suntan, in the sun!"

[While she makes every excuse as to why she doesn't want to go in the sun, I get my mirror out and notice a cowlick, I lick my hand and run it over my hair to push it down. Suddenly Lindsay rushes over and touches where I had the cowlick.]

Lindsay: "Oh you totally do!"

[Chris comes on the speakers this time to make an announcement.]

Chris: "Alright campers enough beauty sleep, time to show us what you're made of!"

*Timeskip*

[You're all seated in bleachers facing a decently sized stage, it even has curtains and stage lights.]

Lindsay: "Are we gonna see a musical? I love musicals- especially the ones with singing and dancing!"

[You notice Gwen walking over as you all out to her.]

(Y/N): "Yo! Gwen! I saved you a seat." [Even though there's a bunch of space to sit, she sits next to you, very close to you in fact, giving you a smile.]

[Cody comes up and sits next to you as well. You sit back and rest your hands behind your head while smiling at Gwen, though, you notice Cody tries to replicate what you're doing, but he falls backward and slips into the walkway of the bleachers. Even then, he still copies you.]

Chris: "Welcome to our brand new deluxe state of the art outdoor amphitheater!" 

(Y/N): "& Knuckles." [You murmur to yourself, chuckling at your own dumb joke.]

Chris: "Okay- this week's challenge is a summer camp favorite! A talent contest!"

[Owen stands up and cheers]

Chris: "Each team has 8 hours to pick their three most talented camper, these three will represent them in the show tonight!. Sing, dance, juggle, anything goes, as long as it's legal." [He does the 'watching you' gesture to Duncan while giving him a stern glare. Duncan just snaps his fingers.]

Chris: "You'll be judged by our resident talent scout- former DJ- VJ- annndd Rap Legend, Grrannd Master Chef, who will show his approval via, the Chef-O-Meter!"

Chris: "The team that loses will send one camper home- tonight! Good luck!" [He waves and walks off.]
