[Chapter One] Beginnings

Chris: "And last, but certainly not least! Our final contestant, (Y/N)!"

[The final yacht arrives, bringing a (s/c) male, with (h/c), (h/l) hair. Your (e/c) eyes sparkling in the bright sunlight as you arrive at the dock, where you can see quite a few people already there. You carefully get off the boat with your stuff and make your way up to Chris, the man running the show.]

Chris: "(Y/N)! Glad you made it!"

(Y/N): "Thanks, though- I was expecting something a little more, resort-ish?"

Chris: "Yeahhh, you're like, the 5th person to say that. Let's just say that a few dollars had to be put to better use."

Chris: "Anyways, put your bag with the others and then in a few minutes I can tell you guys more."

[You nod and make your way to the luggage area, waving and saying hi to people as you make your way down the dock, you throw your luggage on top of the mountain of bags that are already there. You decide to stand next to a gothic looking girl with blue-black hair. She seems to notice your presence as she just gives you a sideways glance.]

(Y/N): "Hey, my name-"

???: "Yeah, I already know your name."

[A bit of a snappy response, but you decide to shrug it off.]

(Y/N): "Well, what's your name then?"

Gwen: "Name's Gwen."

(Y/N): "That's, cool."

[You mentally facepalm after that, it was clear that this wasn't going anywhere for right now, so you decide to try again later.]

Chris: "Alright campers! Before I explain more, everyone please come to the end of the dock so we can take a group photo!"

[You shudder at the thought of taking a group photo, you were always camera shy, you never even liked taking photos of yourself.]

Gwen: "Heh, not a fan of getting your picture taken?"

[You look over and Gwen's looking at you, giving a slight smerk.]

(Y/N): "Nope, always been camera shy."

Gwen: "Yeah, I get you."

[You and everyone else get to the front of the dock. Mostly- everyone posing for the group photo while you just stand there wanting this to end already. Especially with Chris taking his sweet time to just take the photo, you look down and sigh but notice that the board is a bit, split.]

Chris: "Alright campers! Say Wawanakwa!"

Everyone: "Wawanak-"

[You hear wood snapping and quickly dive to the side as the whole side of the dock collapses and everyone, but you, falls into the water. Reasonably, everyone doesn't seem too happy.]

*Timeskip*

[After helping everyone out of the water and after everyone dries off, you make your way over to a decently sized campfire area, there you talk and get to know everyone else that you haven't met already, luckily, you make some more friends like a pretty heavy and energetic guy named Owen, and a chill, but pretty boisterous black woman named Leshawna, but you two got along fine, and after the long wait, Chris finally starts his announcement.]

Chris: "Alright campers! Welcome to my new one of a kind reality television show, Total! Drama! Island!! This place will be your home, for the next 8 weeks! Everyone sitting around you will be your cabin mates, but also your competition, friends, or even enemies!"
