The sage of six paths was holding them captive in this theater. You'd think being a sage of so many paths it would make him more giving in regards to escape routes, but alas. There were none. Not one. They looked high and low. With the failure of Kakashi's kamui to transport Danzo away it was clear that escaping this place until they had watched all the sage wanted them too via any kind of their own teleportation ninjutsu would be impossible.
Debris and rubble from the fight were cleared away and placed in a back corner. A wood style cell was placed around Danzo. Genjutsu ridden or not they couldn't be too careful. The wounded were cared for by medic ninja. Lady Tsunade checked the healing job Kurama did on Sasuke personally. If you asked the Uchiha it was completely unnecessary. The fox didn't half ass healing anyone and Naruto would have just about killed Kurama and himself if he left Sasuke in any sort of wounded state. Especially one that would have ended up killing him.
Sakura was busy checking in with her parents. Sasuke didn't blame her. His own family was circling around him like vultures wondering when or if he'd die because of one teensy kunai slash. He couldn't even imagine how worried civilian parents who lacked the ninja skills or knowledge of shinobi life must be. Still as important of a task as reassuring her parents was Sasuke would have preferred Sakura do this little check up herself instead of her master. He was accustom to the feel of Sakura's chakra invading his body, and Tsunade's, a Sannin's...well it felt threatening to him even though he knew in his mind that it wasn't. His body had completely tensed, an ill advised practice for receiving any sort of medical ninjutsu, but he couldn't help it. His instincts were screaming at him to fight against the foreign chakra after being attacked. As hard as he tried, he couldn't will himself to calm. He was too high strung by the recent events.
Naruto noticed his discomfort. Sasuke was thankful when the blonde all but annoyed the Sannin's healing chakra away. Sasuke was grateful to have the woman's hands off his body. Not that he really outwardly expressed that. But Naruto knew. Naruto always knew he was grateful even if Sasuke had merely sat on and watched Tsunade whack him nastily on the head. Sasuke would have felt guilty about Naruto taking a hit for him, but the idiot had been a bit boastful about Kurama's healing abilities, and by extension his own, so he had kind of deserved it for resorting to trash talking the medical field that typically saved their asses.
There wasn't much left to do after the rubble was cleared and the injured were tended to other than watch the future, and react to it. However no one was ready to return to watching the screen events just yet. It was heavy. No one could be sure of what their future selves decisions or actions might be. They couldn't be predicted with surety. It left everyone on edge. The battle that had broken out was too fresh. It didn't help anything. Not at all. Actually, it had made everything worse. For everyone. The surprise attack on Sasuke was too jarring to merely keep going as they had done with previous interruptions. So in light of the heavy atmosphere they were taking a break, a break that would give team 7 and concerned parties a chance to have a much needed sit down. It was just as Kakashi said. It was time for a talk.
Tenzo had used wood style to make tables for everyone to sit at. With a majority of the chairs uprooted and destroyed from the battle between Root and Uchiha, finding the space was easy. A little goading from Kakashi had been all it took. There were a multitude of them all spaced an okay distance apart. Nothing ideal, everyone would have preferred separate rooms entirely, what with the screen awkwardly paused on onscreen Sasuke's freshly activated mangekyou eyes, but it would have to do. It was as good a stopping point as any. Cushions from the destroyed chairs were taken to make comfortable seats around the wood rectangle tables.
At their table, Team 7 sat on one long side of the table with their Sensei. Kushina, Minato, Fugaku and Mikoto sat across from them. Itachi and Shisui sat to the right of Sasuke on a short end and across from those two boys sat Jiraiya and Tsunade. Every inch of the table used up apart from the corners. What Sasuke wouldn't give for some fucking space and time away from people. They all had cups of tea in front of them thanks to the contents of a summoning scroll. Despite the fact that the brew was supposed to calm one's nerves no one was very relaxed. The genin were particularly uncomfortable still brimming with rage and hurt towards their parents minus Sakura's of course. They all felt betrayed. Many secrets had been thrust out into the open. There was much to discuss. As shaken as some still were delaying the inevitable would do no one any good.
