"This isn't half bad," Marilyn admits.

"No, not too shabby," Loki agrees, then leans in closer, "we could stay a bit longer, if you'd like."

'I don't know about that. The place isn't that special," Marilyn gestures around.

"I think it's magical."

"We should relax today."

"Yes, let's do that."

"I don't think I've ever been in this situation. Where I've got nothing to do. Honestly, we could do anything!"

"It's maddening," Loki nods.

"And yes- that too. But I'm sure there's something..."

"What'd you used to do?"

"Well- hmm. I've done a lot of things, always been a real floater. You know, acting, waitressing- although I may have gotten fired on my first day, cat therapy-"

"You give therapy- to cats?"

"No, no. The cats are a part of the treatment," Marilyn explains, "you give a sad soul a fuzzy kitten, while making sure no one gets hurt. It's a whirlwind, really."

"That sounds...interesting."

"Yes, it was. Then, I was a couples guru, a home chef, I.T. specialist...the list goes on."

"So, relaxing."

"Yes. Let's grab a book and head to the beach."

"The beach?"

"I'm willing to drive," Marilyn shrugs.

"I'm afraid there isn't a beach."

"Oh. You pick, then. It's your place."

"I've got an idea. Here, get dressed."

Marilyn calls, "Loki! Are there any other options?"

"What do you mean?"

"Not to be picky but, this is just...not it."

"Okay, then."

"I'm just not vibing with it, if you know what I mean."

"Mmm-hmm."

"Perfect. So..."

"Yes! One moment-"

Last night

Marilyn asks, "an Airbnb, maybe?"

"I could check," Loki nods.

"No," Marilyn shakes her head, "I'm fairly certain those are an Earth-only thing."

"Oh, well maybe- no. There's one last resort thing, though...it might work."

"We should talk. About everything."

"Yes, about that, I don't really know-"

Marilyn holds up a finger, "can I go first? I just thought of what to say, and I don't want to forget. I've been really horrible at knowing what to say, all day I tried, but only came up with...nevermind."

"I don't feel like we spoke much today."

"What do you mean?" Marilyn rambles, "I wished you not just a good morning, but a good afternoon, a good evening, and a good night."
