𝐑𝐔𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐄𝐑 own little world as she ate her pizza and watched the beauty and the beast movie on her phone. she had watched the animated classic last night at home, and was now watching the live action version. she had already decided which character she wanted to play, focusing on him specifically. every few seconds, gina would look over at the bowen girl, seeing how focused she was on the movie. neither of them had talked about the almost kiss that happened on new year's. gina wanted to talk about it, but she didn't know how to bring it up.
"attention, thespians! i have a brief announcement." carlos started as he stood up from the crowded table, gathering everyone's attention. gina nudged rue gently, making the older girl look at her with raised eyebrows. gina gestured to carlos, rue quickly pausing the movie and looking at him.
"speech! speech!" seb yelled, cupping his hands over his mouth. this made everyone chuckle.
"after spending the last couple of weeks google-stalking the menkie awards, i've discovered that there is no category for best choreography. and since the menkies is step one to me becoming the first ever winner of a megot. . ." carlos explained, making rue turn to gina with furrowed eyebrows, silently asking what the hell a megot was.
