Have you ever hated how life has turned? Like a blink of an eye and things have completely changed? Like he often wondered why life evolves like this, you don't want certain things to happen and they still happen. Seeing Teja in front of him in Shimla in the wedding hotel, laughing along with Vidhi, in her White salwar suit, looking radiant as always Karan realized how happening the wedding was going to be.

And he huffed in frustration, why the hell was this happening now, out of all the places in the world they were supposed to meet here and why, and he raised his head towards the sky as if questioning someone from above.

Just then teja's eye turned towards the door, and she stilled, the eyes that haunted her sleeps, the eyes that still made her cry, the eyes that she fell in love with, the eyes she would never be able to forget, the eyes that were once the mirror that always reflected her and the eyes that once reflected indifference for her. Those pairs of orbs made her go through so much pain but she would never be able to move forward from them ever.

They just stared at each other, probably drinking in each other's appearance, as if this was the end as if they may never get time or maybe they knew once this moment passes away they would never be able to look at each other the way they looked at each other now.

And it does not matter how beautiful the time is, it does pass away. Their little moment also did as Umar came to hug Karan and Teja blinked her eyes, her eyes drifting to that of Vidhi's who stood there scared of the upcoming events and Teja just ran upstairs. While Karan looked at Umar disappointed , he never did expect this from him.

"Teja.." Vidhi came upstairs to her room only to find her her stuff in her suitcase and she walked towards her hurriedly.

"Teju yaar wait listen to me once, I swear I didn't know about this," Vidhi tried making her understand only to find Teja glaring at her.

"I trusted you but no you all are same, bhar main jau mujhe rehna hi nahi hai,"

"Teja mujhe qasam se nahi pata tha, he came to surprise Umar I swear, trust me this once at least,"

"Vidhi who are you even making understand trust and teja are something that never really go along well,"
The same voice and her hands still, that voice could make her go weak on her knees and she hated the kind of effect he had on her.

And she looked at him all riled up, her eyes flaring in anger only to find him smirking.

"Speaking about someone similar Mr. Kundrra?" She questioned and his smirk deepened.

The same old feisty, he thought.

"Itna affect karta hoon baby ke ek jhalak aur bhagg rahi hai?" He questioned and she gulped, he wasn't supposed to know anything.

"Nahi, bas teri shakal 7 din tak bardasht karna buhat mushkil hai,"  and Karan chuckled, she was still the bholu, always forgetting that he could read her like the back of his hand.

"Tchhh itna jhoot?"

"Kya chahta hai Karan?" She questioned, she was tired of all this, all of this was mentally exhausting for her and for her own mental peace she wanted to run away.

"Proof kar affect nahi karta main tujhe. Kar yeh shaadi attend. Reh yahan pe." He said and she smirked.

"You think I don't know what you are trying to do? I know karan kundrra I know I am not naive the way you think I am," and Karan only looked at her in return, so she also knew him well.

"But yeah I am not going, tere liye nahi Vidhi keliye, tu mujhe matter nahi karta ab, tu kya karta hai kya nahi karta nothing. Sab khatam hogaya hai buhat pehle hi Karan." She told him as she looked into his eyes and they both saw hurt flashing in each other's eyes.

Reminders are dreadful, they always kill something within you only for it to never return back.

And they knew this wedding would bring so much back and even though they were scared of what was about to come for once they were not running from it.
