2nd POV
Flash back You didn't have a liking to loud things that well cause ever sense you were just a young girl your ears were way to sensitive to all the loud noises you couldn't concentrate on just one so your mother had taken you to many many doctors until she found the right one that had given you noise canceling headphones "what's this?" You asked holding up the headphones before your mother took them with a gentle smile "There noise cancelling headphones, so your ears won't hurt anymore when you walk outside with these on" she gently spoke making you smile lightly grabbing them back and slowly putting them on your ears

You didn't hear a thing, not even your own voice or your mothers soft voice...you even didn't hear her leave you at that daycare...you were so young just playing around with the others kids that were just like you and your mother had left but, she never came back..

Present time and Your POV
I was on my roller skates as I skated throughout the place but I didn't hear not a signal word sense I had my headphones in and...I also wasn't paying attention because of them and had bumped into somebody making us both fall and my headphones came off my ears "Ah shit" I muttered covering one of my ears and breathing in and out concentrating on one sound on which was the girls familiar voice "Wow bud, you alright?" She said making me look up "Oh! Hey Darcy" I said with a small smile "Oh my gosh my best friend in the whole entire world!" She shouted making me wince as she then covered her mouth "Whoops..sorry bestie" she said gently making me smile "It's fine don't worry" I said and reached for my headphones the same time Darcy reached for it making our hands graze each other

I blushed madly at the contact quickly backing up and stumbling before standing up straight "Woah hah you alright N/n?" She asked holding my headphones as I glanced around at everything else but her with a quick nod of my head "Yeah yeah I'm fine" I said rubbing the back of my neck before I felt a peck on my cheek "You are so adorable when your flustered!" Darcy said with a blush of her own and I touched my cheeks before sighing my knees giving out and Darcy had caught me with a small laugh "Way to adorable" she said which made me hide my face in her shoulder "Shut it.." my voice muffled in her clothing

I then heard a bell which made me perk up a bit at the noise and it got louder making me wince as a bike zoomed by us "Agh!" I shouted in pain as my ears started to ring out of control "Hey hey hey N/n it's okay!" Darcy said with fear as she got us both on our knees and put the headphones on my ears making me pant lightly and snuggle against the girl before she tapped me making me look up "Just breath" I read her lips with a nod and I started to calm my breathing down with the help of my lover

My breath was finally at a normal pace as we stood up "You okay" Darcy said as I read her lips before putting my thumbs up and nodding which made the girl smile and hug me before picking me up as I yelped a bit "Where are we going?" I asked looking at my partner so I could read her lips "Round my place" is what her lips read making me sigh with a nod as I just snuggled against my partner slowly drifting off to sleep in her arms and before I did fall asleep Darcy kissed my forehead and I smiled fully falling into a deep and cozy sleep

Another chapter finished WOOP WOOP! But yeah I got the headphones and sensitive ears thing by the new anime that's on Netflix called, Bubble! It's really good and I love the colors, the style, the characters I even cried at the end so y'all should totally watched that!
