Keep That Smile Up, ok? Part 2 (The Stringless Puppet of The Void)

-I'm sorry, but this was the fastest way I could get here...

She could feel his presence, he was so angry that she wanted to ruin everything, but it seems that she didn't care about herself anymore, she preferred to save people than herself, they were more important, she knew exactly what would happen if she disobeys... She felt schizophrenic, because she heard his  voice and felt him next to her, while there was actually no one there...She thought it was more important to save the soulworker she "ruined", because Haru did a lot for her too....But maybe there was a way for her to be saved too, who knows...

-Erwin, you'll have to go alone to this location, I succeeded on localizing Haru. "Shadow" said

-Alone? Why so?

-You're the one that knows Haru the best, maybe you know her weak spots/weaknesses, also I'm sure you know how to speak to her so she will listen. Don't worry, if anything, we'll come to help you.  She showed him a device that tracked down energy, desire energy was marked with red and soul energy with turquoise.

-When Haru's desire energy will disappear, this mark will slowly return back to turquoise. She continued 

-I see, then I'll go, I guess... He said

Erwin went a long way, it seems that Haru wanted to hide from the world's grasp and of course the place was isolated, there wasn't much light in that room.

-Haru, I know you are here, come out from wherever you are! He yelled

Some foot steps were heard from the distance, then a blonde girl came out from behind one of the walls.

-Oh, so you hunted me down, huh? You're really a crazy guy if you're THIS desperate to see me... She rolled her eyes

-Look, Haru, I know I did awful things to you in the void, I saw the Corrupted Records and their story, but I grew as a person, I moved on and so should you. Erwin said

-Hah, "move on"? Who do you think you are?! My therapist??! You have no idea how much I suffer, how it hurt me when you went with Kent and then you became a completely disgusting jerk. Desire Haru yelled

-DO YOU THINK IF I WERE A JERK AND DIDN'T CARE, I WOULD'VE CAME ALL THE WAY HERE TO APOLOGISE AND SEE YOU?! He yelled back

Desire Haru gave him a shocked face and dropped her sword, a wave of silence filled the abandoned room they were in. Erwin walked closer to Haru, he took her right hand and held it in his own one.

-Even if I'm not the Erwin that you know, since we are basically the same person, I felt like I had to apologise for his mistakes, I'm sorry for everything that happened then, you'll probably never hear this from him, but you really didn't deserve all of that, you lost your mother, we had to try to understand you, instead of treating you like you were a "monster", locking you in a room all alone, that wasn't the right "treatment" in my opinion. I always saw you as a human, even he, saw you as one, maybe he doesn't show that he cares that much, but his actions show me a lot of care for you, he cut off his hand to save you, isn't that something that only a crazy guy that loves you, could do? 

Desire Haru bowed her head, it really made her feel something, she didn't feel in a while, acceptance or was it.... something else? 

She grabbed him by the collar and kissed him. That was the most violent kiss, Erwin has seen in his life, but he knew it was from his Haru, even though what he saw was Desire Haru, he felt Haru's presence, after all they're one but not the same tho. 

She pulled away quite fast(?), she had a small blush on her cheeks.

-Even though, you are not the Erwin that I know, you're less of a jerk than him and I appreciate that, but we have different ways... You have the soulworkers and I have.... Haru said

-Nobody? I still don't get why you isolate yourself from me and the others, Haru. He told

-It just feels so good to have my body back and breath clean air again, I don't know, you just want your Haru back, right? It won't be easy to get her back again, but it's not impossible...

-Then, give her back if you know how to! It almost felt like he pleaded

-I can't... Try harder, Erwin and maybe you'll get her back, plus there'll be a lot in your way that you'll have to deal with... Desire Haru explained

-What do you mean you can't?! And what am I supposed to do? I-

-Well maybe first you should come back yourself to your senses, because it looks like you completely lost your mind and sense of reality. Stop following me, I won't give up on this body so easily. Desire Haru said angry

-And I won't give up on Haru that easily, either! I won't fight you right now, but I'll keep on chasing you down and fight till she comes back! Erwin told her

-Heh, just you try Erwin, just you try... She gave him a death glare and disappeared, she was gone and nowhere to be found. "Where did she go?" he thought. Is it really that hard to get Haru back? Erwin's hope began to fade away day by day, but he still didn't want to give up on his lover, he'll find a way to fix everything, for now, he should prepare for their next meeting...

Don't worry, Haru, wherever you are, I'll find a way to get you back...
