The kid coos from his spot on the hover cart and watches as you help Din pack the rest of your things into the cart. The villagers look on behind you gloomily as you prepare to leave the sanctuary of Sorgan. Your eyes are dark and cloudy as you set your satchel of belongings next to the child. Din's hand falls onto your shoulder to offer you solace in your sadness to leave this beautiful village. His heart falls at the cloudiness of your gaze and he gives your shoulder a small squeeze.

Cara approaches the two of you with a bag slung over her shoulder, smiling to hide her own sadness to leave.

"Are you sure you two don't want an escort?"

Din continues to set his belongings in the hovercart, replying as he works.

"I appreciate the offer, but we're gonna bypass the town and head right to the Razor Crest."

Cara nods. "Well then, until our paths cross." She extends her hand to shake the Mandalorian's and he grasps her hand in a firm manner, returning the respectful gesture.

"Until our paths cross."

Cara then turns to you, reaching out as if she's going to repeat the handshake but instead pulls you into an embrace. A small smile escapes your lips and you embrace your new friend, whispering words of good fortune to one another.

"Stay safe, Cara." Your voice is husky from your previous breakdown and from the sadness of departure.

"Same goes for you, Alora." Cara nods towards Din. "Take care of yourself. And take care of them."

Smiling, some light returns to your gaze.

"But, of course. What would they do without me?"

Cara cracks a smile, turning to depart into the woods. The moment that she leaves your side, Winta runs from the crowd to crouch in front of the child and throws her arms around his small body. Tears streak down her face as she speaks to the kid.

"I'm gonna miss you so much."

The child coos in sadness and tilts his head to rest it against hers. His ears have lowered to display his sorrow and his eyes are downcast. Winta retreats from the embrace and returns to Omera's side, grabbing her mother's hand for emotional support.

Omera thanks Din for your help and you crouch by the child, petting his ears soothingly. You rise when Din appears by your side, offering his hand to help you into the cart. He clambers into the cart behind you, his pulse rifle in his grasp as he settles down by your side. Din rests the weapon among the mess of belongings and the droid directing the cart starts to move towards the trees of the surrounding forests. You watch sadly as the villagers disappear into the distance and the child watches on in the same manner.

Once the village disappears behind the trees, you slump against the wall of the cart, staring at your limp hands as they sit propped up by your knees.

Din is sitting a few inches to your left, staring out into the foliage as the cart makes its way through the woods.

"I'm sorry that we couldn't stay longer." His voice is low and sullen, exposing that he too is sad to leave this planet.

"It's not your fault, Din. It's mine."

His helmet whips around to look at you as you stare at the floor of the cart.

"What makes you think that this is your fault, Alora?"

"They came here looking for me."

"And the child." Din scooches closer to you, his shoulder brushing against your own. "We talked about this. You are not alone in this."
