"Shadow" opened the book, the files were completely empty(?) But she turned the pages very fast and reached a file with a red text that had a strong glow, she touched the text with one hand and the whole room was filled with white, then *boom* they were gone.

-Remember that these are just illusions and they can't hurt you by any means. At least, not physically...   she sighed

Haru looked around, she saw different "windows" open, there was some kind of memory, in each of them. One was with Haru in a school uniform, one was with Haru studying in her bedroom and one was.... with Haru obtaining the top marks, but.... Something wasn't right...

All that happiness faded away, when Haru saw her mother crumbling in a bunch of rocks, she offered a hand to help her, but it was too late... The woman that gave her life was gone...

"Shadow" was with her back turned at the memories, she couldn't look, it was too painful, it was more painful to look at Haru's expression, which was heartbreaking... She "backstabbed"

her friend...

-M-mom...?

But they returned back to the normal world with "Shadow" closing the book and burning it.

-I'm sorry you had to see this... I know it's too late for this... she looked at Haru that had her back turned at her

Haru didn't move, she stayed looking blankly to where those memories used to be a few moments ago.

"Shadow" tapped her shoulder, hoping that she could get her back to reality... But
