Another monotonous day in Nathalie's life unfolded, mirroring the repetitive pattern that seemed to stretch into infinity.
Answering boring emails and having a couple of cups of coffee.
It all blended into a dull and exhausting cycle, making her feel like she was stuck in a never-ending loop.
The repetitiveness of each day seemed to be driving her close to the edge, with each day blending into the next like an unchanging copy.
Just as Nathalie dared to hope for a moment of peace as she made her way to the restroom a sudden intrusion shattered the fragile wish of calmness she clung to.
The designer, with an almost unnerving grin, burst into her world, calling her name with an air of urgency that she hadn't anticipated:
"Nathalie!" he exclaimed "I was on the lookout for you!"
"Were you, sir?" she replied, a tinge of exhaustion evident in her voice.
"Yes, to inform you that I require your assistance!"
Expecting yet another tedious task as Mayura, Nathalie sighed.
She had been terribly exhausted from always helping her superior do bad things to everything and everyone.
Little did she know that Gabriel had a far more unique request in mind, one that would force her out of the mundane routine that had become her daily existence.
"Nathalie," Gabriel began again. "I was hoping you'd be willing to model for me."
"Pardon?!" she gasped, her fatigue suddenly replaced by a blend of terror and excitement.
"Well..." he said, "I need a woman's body for a dress I'm making, and...and you're ideal!"
The assistant blushed, caught off guard by the unexpected proposition.
Yet, without hesitation, she found herself agreeing to the task at hand.
In just a few moments Nathalie found herself settled into a chair, anticipating her boss's return with the outfit since Gabriel had disappeared into another room.
It was apparently a treasure trove of the designer's creations and where he hid his best creations.
In the meantime, those brief minutes of waiting almost began to feel like a lifetime for the young woman.
All that her brain could think of was the mere idea of Gabriel being close to her, it overwhelmed the assistant.
She shook her head in an attempt to get rid of her foolish thoughts, but it was no use.
Her anticipation was now getting worse with every second passing by.
When Gabriel finally returned, Nathalie's enthusiasm reached new heights.
In his hands, he cradled a stunning red dress, the radiant stones adorning the garment and adding an extra layer of complexity to its allure.
Nathalie couldn't help but swallow nervously.
Her anxiety felt like it could make her faint any second, yet nothing but a beaming smile graced her face and hid her every other emotion as she eagerly stood up.
"It's beautiful!" She smiled.
The designer, captivated by her enthusiasm, gladly handed over the gown.
"Perfectly fit for you then."
He actually didn't intend to compliment her in such a way, but somehow accidentally it slipped out.
"T-T-Thank you." Nathalie tried to awkwardly nod and hide her blushing face that was displaying all this compliment did to her. "I-I-I'll go try it on now!"
Their exchange was punctuated by shared smiles, and they went their separate ways.
Nathalie headed to the restroom, the vibrant red dress clutched in her hands, while Gabriel lingered behind, awaiting her return with an air of anticipation.
As Nathalie slid into the dress, a wave of self-consciousness washed over her.
Doubt crept in for a moment.
Both the idea of backing out and the fear of failure sent shivers down her spine.
The mere thought of disappointing Gabriel, or worse, facing his criticism, nearly brought her to tears.
Yet, determined not to let those unsettling thoughts take hold, Nathalie shook her head.
She couldn't and wouldn't let any dumb emotions take over her.
The woman knew she had wanted this moment for uncountable years, and after a couple of deep breaths, her confidence finally returned.
Nathalie then wiped all evidence of tiny forming tears away and went back out from where she came.
The assistant thought that she'd wait until her boss would be back from wherever he may have gone, but what she didn't expect was that she'd see him already there, waiting.
"Sir!" She exclaimed, a little shook.
Then, she would've liked to explain how much she loved the dress, except the young woman couldn't even do so because her superior cut her right off.
"Oh my!" Gabriel smiled, proud of his work....and her. "You look amazing, and the outfit is perfect for you."
"Well I agree that the dress is perfect-"
"Gosh," He interrupted her once more. "...people need to see you in this!"
"People?!" Nathalie stammered, caught off guard. "Y-You mean like the public?"
"Yes! Because you are magnificent!" The man nodded with delight, his smile brighter than ever before and his eyes glowing from pure joy.
Nathalie couldn't believe what was coming out of her boss's mouth and how serious he was being, but at least he had not been disappointed with her.
Actually, she was glad to see him the happiest he'd been in a while.
"News reporters," All of a sudden Gabriel began to speak again "and modeling agencies!"
Nathalie's eyes widened, she felt a momentary dizziness.
"S-S-Sir are you-"
