It was finally Saturday and I was fixing my hair in the mirror before leaving to hang at Annie's with my friends. It's not like it had been a while since we hung out because we did hang out a lot during the summer but I was still excited to see them nontheless.

Just as I stepped out the door I felt mu phone vibrate. It was Armin, we had actually been occasionally texting each other since Thursday evening, sending each other memes and discussing the latest celebrity gossip. Right now he had just sent me that 'no bitches' megamind meme which I admit made me chuckle a little. I walked towards Reiners car that was patiently parked behind mine waiting for me. He looked up from his phone and in my direction.

"What are you giggling at?"

"Oh nothing, armin just sent me that 'no bitches' meme."

"Well he's not wrong."

I playfully hit him in the shoulder before telling him we needed to hurry because we were meant to be meeting the group at Annie's place in five and we were a good 15 minutes away.

Annie lived in the rich area of town whereas I lived on the more 'shameless/south side' type side of town, god I love that show, I made Reiner watch it with me all weekend once.

I didn't mind not being rich though if I'm being completely honest, I loved where I live and everyone is like family here. It's my home and nothing would never change that.

"So, how long have you and Armin been best buddy's?"

"Aww is someone jealous?"

"Shut up. I'm just saying you seemed very unhappy before when you found out about this little set up and now your practically drooling over your phone waiting for him to reply."

"Jealousy doesn't look good on you Rei, makes your face go all weird...Well, weirder than it normally looks."

"IM NOT JELOUS!"

We finally arrived at Annie's and knocked before heading inside. We headed straight to the attic (which was renovated so Annie basically had the whole thing to herself) and greeted our other friends.

We were all chatting about random stuff between ourselves, I for one was talking to Annie about Jennifer Anistons most recent Instagram post and how amazing she looked in it as always, when Peick sprung up from her place grabbing all of our attention and interrupting all of our conversations

"Omg guys we should play truth or dare!"

"Peick that is literally best idea you've had since that prank on Mr Wesner in fourth grade." I replied getting super excited at the idea.

Sure some might think it's a little 'cringy' and more of a middle school party thing but we always got a little wild with truth or dare, and it was a weekend if you get what I mean.

"Ok I'll go first since it was my idea, Reiner truth or dare!"

"Dare obviously im no pussy."

"Mhm sure, uhm, ah I know! I dare you to call your mom and tell her you accidentally got a girl pregnant and then just hang up."

"Uhhh i hate you peick my moms gonna beat me before I can tell her it's a joke!"

"Hey I thought you weren't a pussy?"

Let's just say he now has 14 missed calls from his mother and a lot of black and blue waiting for him at home to explain to people at school on Monday. Reiner then turned to me...

"Truth or dare megamind?"

"I guess I'll go dare, keep it interesting"

"I dare you to send Armin your hottest photo of you, no context, no response, just the photo"

"You saying I'm hot rei?"

"Just do it pussy"

"Alright Mr Jelous"

I sent Armin the photo while everyone watched eagerly over my shoulder. It was a mirror pic, lit by my led lights on dark blue, I was wearing a short, skintight dress that complemented my body beautifully, I was sat on the edge of my bed with my legs crossed, you couldn't see my face though because I took it with the flash on. I took it at the start of summer and I can't lie I looked hot as shit in it.

I sent the photo then turned to Ymir.

"Hey Ymir, truth or dare?"

"I'll go truth since you two went with dares."

"Is it true your dating historia reiss?"

"Uhh, well, I Uhm, yeah I guess. I don't know why she likes me, she's like a godess and when she smiles at me I get this warm fuzzy feeling inside, it makes me feel so safe and-"

We had to stop her before she went on for hours. They were so so cute together and I shipped them so hard before she revealed they really were dating just now but we had so many truths and dares to get through so she would have to wait for another time to tell me all about their relationship.

The game went on for a good hour and by the end of it Connie was half naked, Peick was half wasted and Annie was half asleep so we decided to call it a night.

We all said our goodbyes and headed home. I had to sneak in since it was like one in the morning and I did not wanna be lectured by dad about curfew right now, all I wanted was to put on my fluffy pjs and binge the new Heartstopper series until I dropped.

I had just started playing it and was scrolling through Instagram when I remembered the photo. I wanted to see if Armin had seen it yet, half hoping he hadn't so I could delete it since it'd be so awkward if he did, and half hoping he did see it. I don't know why but I wanted him to see it, to see it and think I was hot, pretty, cute. I wanted him to see me, and not think of me as his chore but as someone. But why? He was just some jerk who was tutoring me to save his own ass. We wouldn't even exchange more than five words between each other if it weren't for this set up. God what is wrong with me!

I checked our chat and he had seen it and sent me a photo back. I was sweating with nervousness if I'm being completely honest, what if it was him and his friends laughing at me or a black screen saying 'wtf?'. Maybe my brain just goes to the worst case scenario but my heart was beating out of my chest.

I opened the photo to see a selfie of Armin with just the top half of his face in view and his eyes wide open. His hair was all messed up but he looked kinda cute. I could see in the photo that his walls were a dark blue and he had led lights but they were off. There was also some photos stuck to the wall in the top right. I could only see half of them but I could make out a few. Mikasa and Eren, a group photo and an older couple who I assume were his mom and dad. They were at the beach so maybe he had loved it since he was a kid since he mentioned how he loved to go there. It's only ten minutes from the school so most people go there in the sunny months as soon as the bell rings.

I spent about five minutes trying to figure out what to respond with but decided on sending the same style of photo he sent but with me. He opened it almost straight away and hearted it. He didn't reply after that though so I continued to watch heartstopper, wearing a small smile on my face until I fell asleep.
