Chapter 43: TLC Part 3 - Corporate Beatdown

Start from the beginning

Meanwhile at ringside, Jim Ross was not too happy.

Jim Ross: oh that snake Nick Khan! That son of a bitch responsible for all those releases! Come on Luke, you have to keep fighting, kid!

(Fast forward)

The fight was at ringside with Luke pursuing Vince while he hit the boss with kendo stick shots to his back. Vince went back in the ring and as the Nomad was about to continue his beatdown, he was ran over by a shoulder block from the 7 foot Colossus, Omos.

Omos picked Luke up and threw him back in the ring. The Supreme King got back up and tried to level the big man like he did before, but as he went for another German suplex, Omos fought out of it and flattened the Intercontinental Champion with his finisher, the Chokebomb.

Omos then grabbed a table at Vince's request and set it up. He placed Luke on the table, but the Nomad got his senses together and landed punches on the big man and Vince; he then got up and slammed McMahon's face on the furniture.

Luke saw a table leaned in the corner and attempts to Irish whip Omos to the table; however the Colossus reversed and Irish whipped the Nomad, but the champion stopped at his tracks; then he saw Omos charging towards him, but Luke moved out of the way and threw Omos into the table, neutralizing the big man.

The Nomad turned his attention to McMahon; he grabbed a steel chair and landed a shot to his head; he then slowly walk towards him, but he turned and saw another one of Vince's lapdogs coming as NXT 2.0's Grayson Waller somersaulted into the ring and took down Luke with his Stunner.

Grayson got Vince to go for the pin, but the Nomad managed to get his shoulder up, much to the shock of Vince and Grayson.

With Luke and McMahon down, Grayson looks to give the boss an advantage; the Arrogant Aussie got out of the ring to grab a steel chair. Waller got back inside the ring and waited for Luke to get up.

As Luke got back up, Waller was ready to swing the chair, but the NXT 2.0 young wrestler was hit in the back with a steel chair from a hooded figure.

Luke leaned on the turnbuckles and watch as the figure swung the chair on Waller's back. With the steel chair bent, the figure removed his face mask and put his hood down, and to the loud pop and shocked faces of the crowd and Luke, the figure was none other than NXT Black and Gold veteran Johnny Gargano, Luke's mentor.

Gargano helped his student to his feet and told him to do their own version of DIY's Meeting in the Middle. Gargano and Luke waited for Grayson to get on his knees and the teacher and student took down Waller with the DIY finisher.

Waller rolled out of the ring while Johnny gave pursuit and get his measure of revenge on the man who ended his NXT career. Luke smiled as he watched his mentor beat the hell out of Waller to the back.

Laurinaitis attempted to sneak attack the Supreme King, but Luke blocked the kendo stick shot and snatched the weapon out of the former Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.

Luke: People Power, asshole!

Luke then hit Laurinaitis with a kendo stick shot to the head. He turned to see Nick Khan near a steel chair. The Nomad stepped on it to stop the WWE President and pointed the kendo stick at him.

Nick stood up and went for a cheap shot, but Luke ducked it and locked in the Katipunan Clutch on the president.

As he let go, Vince snuck up from behind and hit a low blow on the Supreme King. Vince laid the champion on a steel chair, and then goes to grab another steel chair while JR was yelling:

JR: don't you do it! You're gonna end the man's career! Do you have no conscious? Do you have no heart? Do you have no soul, you son of a bitch?

As Vince was about to end the career of Luke, the familiar glass break sounds, making the crowd go on their feet.

JR was yelling in excitement from ringside.

JR: Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold is here! And look at the look on McMahon!

Stone Cold got in the ring and got in McMahon's face. The two men who sparked one of the greatest rivalries in the Attitude Era stared daggers.

Theory got back in the ring, but the Texas Rattlesnake landed punches on the young star before giving him a Stunner, making Theory oversell it before he was kicked out of the ring.

Stone Cold then proceeded to kick Vince in the gut and just like back in the Attitude Era, the Texas Rattlesnake stuns the Boss with another Stunner.

Luke saw Stone Cold telling him to finish it, the Nomad locked in the Katipunan Clutch and McMahon tapped out. With an assist from Johnny Gargano and Stone Cold, the match was over; Luke Ardiente, the Supreme King has slayed the head of the corporate wyvern.

Johnny returned to the ring and assisted Stone Cold to help Luke to his feet. By the match stipulation, Luke is still Intercontinental Champion and still employed in the WWE.

Johnny buckled the Intercontinental title around Luke's waist while Stone Cold grabbed his signature Broken Skull IPA cans of beer. Stone Cold and Johnny raised Luke's arms while the three men shared a cold drink of beer to celebrate the win.

TLC ended with Luke, Johnny and Stone Cold standing on the turnbuckles while they continued to drink some more IPA.
