Chapter 1

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

I lift my head up and look over at the time.

6:15.

I hit the snooze button, slowly get out the bed, and walk slowly to the bathroom so I can get ready for school.

I look in the mirror to find my little sister, Farrah, naked peeing on the toilet.

"Farrah NO!" I screamed.

Normally I wouldn't have a problem with it, but she didn't lift the toilet cover off, so there is pee running down the side of the toilet.

"I'm sorry Aeri, I will clean it up," she gave me the cutest look.

I smiled at her and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I stared in the mirror looking at my long brown hair cascading down my back, and staring at my bright brown eyes.

'Yeah, yeah we know you're gorgeous, we are going to be late for school'

If you didn't know I'm a werewolf, my whole family to be exact, and every werewolf has an inner wolf, mine is Callie.

Farrah screamed from downstairs "Aeri I didn't want to say anything but my school starts at 7, and its 6:50,"

Well shit.

"I'm coming Far, can you grab my keys for me please?"

I threw on some dark blue skinny jeans, a grey Nike sweatshirt, and my white converse. I ran downstairs at top speed and landed perfectly at the last step.

'I'm surprised you made that without tripping!' Callie laughed,

I ignored her.

"Come on Far we gotta gooooo nowww!"

"I'm coming Aeri!"

We jumped in my red 2008 Audi a4 and I drove Farrah to her school, Middleton Elementary School. She jumped out of her car seat and slammed the door.

"Bye Aeri I love you!"

"Love you too Far!"

Once she got into the school I drove off towards my school, Middleton High School. I jumped out of the red Audi and started walking towards the school doors when my best friend, Melissa, screamed half-way across courtyard

"AERIAL COME HERE!"

I slowly walked over to her with a tired look.

"What's up Mel?"

"Hey Aeri, I didn't want to make a big deal, but I think I found my mate!"

"That's great Mel, when do I get to meet him?!"

"Soon I promise, but we have to get to class I can't afford another detention."

We started walking to the doors of the school when everyone heard the alpha, Tyler Black, pull up on his motorcycle. All the cheerleaders try to catch his attention by pulling down their shirts and pulling up their shorts. Tyler pulls off his helmet and he looks around the crowd. His eyes catches mine, I gasp.

'Mate' Callie practically yells.
