Friday night she and Rosé had gone out for drinks after work and met up with Jisoo, Wendy, Bangchan, Bambam and Irene. It had been fun until until Bambam tried to pick a fight with a man three times his size and got them all kicked out.
She had spent Saturday with her mom. They did the typical things that didn't exactly need to be done but it was good to do. She got her hair trimmed, they got mani-pedis and then went shopping for new clothes.
Sunday she spent cleaning her apartment. She felt as if she were never home but there always something to do.
By the time Monday rolled around she had almost forgot about her lunch with Lisa the next day. Almost.
"I still can't believe she invited you for lunch again," Rosé said when they were on the elevator.
Jennie rolled her eyes but as soon as it was brought up she became giddy. "Why is that so hard to believe?"
"Because! She probably has more money than our friend group combined and she wants to spend time with you."
"I don't exactly think it has anything to do with money," Jennie frowned.
Rosé shook her head. "No, that's not what I meant. I'm just saying that she's an impressive woman and you get to go hang out with her."
She began smiling. "I know!" Jennie whispered excitedly. "Do you want to come over tonight? We can watch movies and you can help me pick out what to wear tomorrow."
"See you then, sweetheart," Rosé grinned as she stepped out onto her floor.
Before the door closed, the woman with high cheekbones from Lisa's office stepped in. She turned around to smile at the blonde.
"Jennie, right?" She asked and when she nodded the woman continued. "Nice to see you again. I'm Jisoo."
"Jisoo, you're Lisa's assistant, right?" Jennie acted as if she didn't quite remember but truth be told she hadn't forgotten any of her interaction with the CEO.
"Yeah. She lets you call her Lisa?" Jisoo asked with a surprised look.
"I.. uh.. yeah," Jennie nodded as the elevator stopped at her floor. When the doors opened, Jisoo held her arm over the sensor to keep it from shutting for a moment.
"Have a good day," Jisoo smiled.
"You too," She said, stepping out.
"Hey, Jennie," Jisoo said, reaching out to lightly grab her arm. When she had the blonde's full attention she said, "It's a big deal Lisa lets you call her by her first name."
"Really?" Jennie asked. "Why do you?"
"I've known her since we were twelve. I think I've earned it," Jisoo laughed and Jennie did too. "I'll see you tomorrow," She said stepping back to let the doors close around her.
