But before they could see who Kio is looking at, Ace intervened.
"Ah," Ace raised his hand. "I c-can't eat spicy foods for the meantime."
"Ace?" MJ asked raising his brow.
Inabot ko iyong baso ng tubig sa harapan ko at saka pinangalahatian ito. I glanced at Lyann but I think she didn't noticed it too.
"Gapjagi wae, Ace?" We all turned to Manager Hong who have just arrived. Lumipat uli iyong tingin ko kay Kio na nakatingin sa akin bago niya inilipat ang tingin kay Manager Hong.
"C-change of preferences." I saw Ace glared at Kio while he remained silent like he didn't cause all of this.
"Geurae?" Tumango si Ace kay Manager Hong.
Napasandal lang ako sa upuan ko nang bumalik na iyong iba sa mga ginagawa nila. Ace not eating spicy foods means something because he loves eating foods with high level of spiciness.
"Ayos ka lang?" Bulong sa akin ni Lyann. Tumango ako at saka pinunasan iyong namuong pawis sa gilid ng noo ko.
They continued the game until they won and the food were served. There were tons of food, medyo nangati lang iyong ilong ko dahil sa sobrang anghang ng aroma nung ibang pagkain. Lyann and I chose to eat bibimbap and those cheesy scallops and buttered shrimps. Halos sa mga kasama namin sa table ay maanghang nag kinakain, even Lyann.
I was mixing my food when I sensed someone was looking at me. There was some sort of tingling sensation and a magnetic pull in the other side of the table. I lifted my eyes and I found Kio looking at me while mixing his bibimbap.
"Mwo?" I mouthed and glanced sideways to see if there's someone looking at me.
He shook his head and he lazily smiled before digging in his food. Tinuloy ko ang pag-kain ko, the table was a bit quiet and all were busy minding their own food. Nang matapos ako ay sinabi ko kay Lyann na pupunta lang ako sa restroom. Tumayo ako at saka pumunta sa restroom, it was located at the back of the resto wherein I would pass by a mini garden wherein there are sorts of herbs.
Pagkalabas ko ng cubicle ay naghugas ako ng kamay ko. I was looking for some tissue or hand dryer but I couldn't find one. Lumabas nalang ako habang medyo tumutulo pa ang basa kong kamay.
"Ay putang--" Halos mabaliktad ako sa isang pasong walang lamang halaman nang biglang lumitaw sa harapan ko si Kio.
"Mianhae," Hindi niya alam ang gagawin at mukhang nagulat rin sa akin pero agad rin siyang natawa kaya kumunot ang noo ko.
"Oh," he was handing me his hanky but when I didn't moved an inch, he pulled my hands and dried it using his handkerchief.
"Bakit ka tumatawa?" Tanong ko. May maliit na ngising nakasilay pa rin sa kaniyang labi.
"Lutong e'." He said and chuckled.
"Bakit ka kasi biglang sumusulpot sa harap ko. Ano ka kabute?" Binitawan niya yung kamay ko nang matapos niyang punasan ito.
His forehead were knitted. "What's kabute?"
Ako naman tuloy yung napatawa nang bahagya. "Mushroom," I replied.
Napakamot siya sa ulo niya at natawa rin.
"By the way, why did you do that earlier?" I asked softly because he might misinterpret it. Tumingin ako sa sapatos ko na nalagyan na ang ibabaw ng buhangin.
"Which one?"
"About the food?" I raised my head just to meet his eyes. He's really tall.
"Oh that," he said as he placed his hand on his nape.
