Rose stand there, and stare at the older with unreadable expression and then sigh. "Noah I-"

"Yes I get it. you are not my soulmate and of course you won't believe me because you are still 17 and haven't experience the switch yet"

Sighing again, Rose replied. "Yes you are right, I am still 17 and I don't know my soulmate but I have my hopes high for someone else-"

"Who? Your boyfriend?" Noah's heart clenched at his own words.

"Gosh I don't even know what to do except for apologizing. Like I don't even know you!"

Noah steps back, and extended his hand. "Right I Didn't introduce myself properly the other day. Let me do it now. Hello, I am Noah collins, 18 years old. I am from Canada. Currently in the final year. The academy's Golden boy and extremely handsome. I live in a shared apartment with my friend Cole, who is apparently the boyfriend of your neighbor, Lexi. I like to play basketball and my favorite place to go is Ice flakes, But I have never seen you after the millions of time I visited there?"

Rose stared at the older before laughing looking at her sideways. Shaking the older's hand she replied.

"Rose Evans, 17 years old as you already know. Born in New York and still in New York. Currently in 2nd year and probably everyone's crush." She said winking, making the other blush lightly. "I am cute and lovable as you already know. I Live alone and I just recently start working at the Cafe. Explain everything doesn't it?" She added, revealing her smile once again.

As if on cue, the bell rang making the both them drop each other hands.

"Well Umm..I Will see you later, I guess." Noah said, hesitantly.

"You wish." The latter replied, with a smile.

As the school ended, Noah walked back from school to the Cafe with Lia, as promised. The two of them didn't had a rough break-up thats why they are still friends.

Entering the Cafe, Noah was met with the sight of Rose wearing her apron, and attending the customers quickly.

Lia went to the counter for ordering their drinks while Noah sat on their usual dating spot, which was the table near the window. He planned to take a break from deserts after eating a whole cake with Cole yesterday.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" Noah asked, as Lia sat on the table.

"I will be straight. Lets get together." She said, bluntly.

"What?!"

"I'm sorry. I know it's all of a sudden. I will explain it you. So you see after the break up I thought everything will go back to normal like you know my model life and other stuff but It wasn't like that. I missed you." Lia explained, joining the puzzles together.

"I missed you too." Noah answered honestly. "But isn't it all too soon?"

"I know. That's why I am giving you sometime. And also you just turned 18, so I was wondering If you know who your soulmate is?"

Noah thought anyone having Lia as a girlfriend would be lucky. She was pretty, caring, loving and intelligent. And beacuse they are still close friends, Noah did have a soft spot for her.

"I haven't. The switch didn't happened yet." He lied.

"Your drinks." Rose approached their table, placing the drinks down. Noah tried to gain her attention by constantly staring at her but without even glancing at the older, and smiling towards Lia she went back.

"Do you know her?." Lia asked, rasing her eyebrows.

"Oh yeah actually She and Lexi live in the same complex so we bump into each other sometimes."

What a lie.

After a lil bit chit chat the couple was getting along really well. But little did they know a certain someone was watching- No glaring at them from the counter.

'He told me I am his soulmate, And now here he is getting back together with his Ex? What game is he playing.' Rose thought, digging holes behind the Male's head.

That's when she realized something is wrong with her.

"wait! why do I care?"

"I told him that i ain't his soulmate so he has freedom to do whatever he wants to."

"ugh He is driving me crazy!"

"Get a Grip Rose Evans you Have a boyfriend for fudge sakes!" Shaking her head, she went back to attend her customer as a distraction from the other male, though it was her break.

After a few minutes the couple left the cafe, And Rose slumped down behind the counter, with a grunt. So many thoughts were swirling around her mind. She slapped her cheeks lightly and breath In and out, regaining her mental and emotional condition.

"I should call Liam"

"Hey! everything's fine? you look stressed." Liam asked, engulfing the latter in a hug.

"Just want to get rid of things in my mind" She answered returning the hug.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Maybe. After pizza and movie?"

"That's why I love you."

They sat on the couch as Liam ordered the pizza and Rose choose the movie. The two of them snuggled into the thick blanket. Rose felt safe in Liam's arms. She felt comfortable with him. They were best friend turned into lovers; Liam confessed first.

The movie ended and the credits start rolling on the screen. Liam turned towards Rose, Who had a uncomfortable expression on her face.

"You know I won't force you. If you don-"

"No! I should tell you. You have a right to know." sighing, she started. "The guys other day, Noah claimed that I am his soulmate according to his switch. I didn't want to believe it, so I told him It wasn't me and just shrugged it of. But he kept insisting me that I was-"

"You didn't want to believe it, so you actually did?" Liam asked, his eyes now darkened.

Rose shook her head. "Of course not. How would you react when an random stanger, whom you never talked before will come to you and claim that you are his soulmate? I was taken back as hell and I told him I have you!"

Liam, scratching the back of head, sighing. He didn't know what to do, Nor did Rose. They both sat their in silence, not the comfortable one though. After a while, Rose felt an arm wrapped around her body, immediately reacting, she hugged the older back. Liam kissed the top of her head, then bringing her head to his chest.

"Do want me to do something?" Liam asked, looking down towards Rose.

"Like what?" The latter asked, snuggling further.

"Like Should I tell him to stay away from you or not to dis-"

"No No it's fine. He will get over it, infact he already start dating someone." Saying those words, Rose felt an unfamiliar feeling rose in her chest. "I can handle him."

"But-" Rose tightened her grip on Liam's torso giving him a reassuring smile.

'I don't want to lose him.' Rose thought.
