"Alexandrea Rhislett Evans- Johansson" Scarlett said pulling the duvet out from Alexa body
"What is wrong with you?! Can't you see I'm sleeping?!" Alexa said angrily
"You also have school. Fix that attitude and go get ready. I gave you 15 minutes to meet me in the kitchen Alexa" Scarlett said sternly.
Alexa huffed in annoyance and got ready leaving Scarlett putting her head in her hands, sighing in exasperation.

15 minutes later, Alexa walked into the kitchen to be met with everyone having breakfast.
"Good morning bubs" Chris greeted his daughter with his wide smiles that seem contagious because Alexa smiles back at him
"Morning Chris" Alexa said
"Morning Lex" Axel greeted
"Shut up jackass" Alexa snapped at him
"Alexa! What's wrong with you? I told you to fix that attitude before getting ready, aren't I?" Scarlett said pissed
"You need to watch your mouth, Alexa. You can't go around with that foul mouth. No cussing and no attitude. You hear me young lady?" Scarlett said sternly, giving her a glare making Alexa shut her mouth. Whether she likes it or not, Anna and Kimmy taught her better to not talk back to the eldest and basically Alexa already considered her as a mother but didn't admit it yet.
"Now sit and eat your breakfast and then we can go to school" Scarlett said, grabbing a plate and giving it to Alexa.
"I don't eat breakfast," Alexa grumbled under her breath.
"Why?" Scarlett asks
"Because I don't. It makes me feel sick" Alexa replied with attitude
"Lex, you gotta try these waffles Scarlett made because it's the best. Honestly, where have you been in my life? This is the literal yummy waffles ever" Axel said trying to convince Alexa to eat
"Well, to answer your question pretending we're not exist in this world living her life" Alexa responded
Scarlett's face drops immediately when she hears Alexa comment.
"Alexandrea!" Axel said looking at his twin sister in disbelief. He gets up from his seat and grabs Alexa wrist dragging them into his room leaving the two stunned parents.
"What is wrong with you? Can't you be nice? If you don't have nice things to say just shut your mouth. She's trying her best with us! Don't ruin it Alexa. Listen, I love you but I want this to work out for us. I want this for us Lex. Please do it for me" Axel exclaimed as he shut the door
"I know you want this to work out too right? I know you so much Lex. But how would this gonna work out if you don't give them chances? This is what we wanted Lex. What we needed" Axel added as Alexa just stay silent
Alexa is trying so hard to not to cry and she seems to have mastered this because she sucks up her tears. She holds it back as much as she can. She can do that, she can bottle up her emotions until she can't anymore.
"Lex?" Axel asks for her attention. Alexa just shrugs him off and gets out of the room, walks into the kitchen with a blazer and grabs her bags.
"I'm sorry for what I've said. I gotta go to school" Alexa said walking away
"You didn't eat your breakfast yet honey, please" Scarlett said, calling her out. Alexa stops from her tracks and walks back into the kitchen, grabs the granola bar and shows it to both of her parents and walks out of the apartment.
"Damnit Axel!" Axel muttered under his breath and quickly grabbed his blazer and bag to chase Alexa. He can't let Alexa walk alone to school.
"Uh, I gotta go. I can't let her walk alone to school. Are you guys picking us up after school?" Axel asks turning to see the parents
"Yeah, we're gonna pick you guys up and we can start packing" Chris responded
"Okay, if anything just text us. If you don't have our number just ask Kimmy for it" Axel said walk out of the apartment to go chase Alexa
Scarlett let out another sighs and Chris just hugs her
"This is gonna be a long ride. But we surely can handle them, Scar. They're our kids. Our little miracle babies. We're gonna be okay. Though it won't be sweet ride all the time but time will heal it if we make it up to them" Chris informs
"Did you see how smooth you gotta talk with her? She even smiles at you back. She's my baby girl Chris but all we do is arguing" Scarlett said
"Yeah. Believe it or not, she is still mama's girl Scarlett. I can feel the betrayal that she expressed that you left her. We left them. Kimmy and Anna already told us that it takes time for Alexa to trust us back. We'll do whatever it takes Scarlett to have our babies back" Chris explains
"When did you become this wise?" Scarlett said, pulling away from the hug to look Chris in the eyes.
"When one of us has to stay strong for each other. That's when" Chris snorted
They just laugh with each other.
"I have meetings after this but I'll come to the meeting at the school later" Chris informs
"Yeah, I gotta go see Lizzie. She's been dying for an update about her goddaughter" Scarlett exclaimed
Lizzie and Robert are Alexa godparents. They've been friends with Scarlett and Chris long before the twins were born.
Axel's godparents are Robert and Susan Downey. They are the only person that knows about the twins.
But Scarlett and Chris have come to an agreement to tell their marvel family about the twins 3 years ago. They are somehow their dysfunctional family.
After cleaning up for breakfast Scarlett and Chris parted their ways to continue with their own agendas of the day before the school meetings.
