"Daddy, wha happened?" Evan asked worried as he, Michael, Sammy, Charlie, and Elizabeth watched as Henry treated a large gash above Daddy's eye.
"Mama happened," Sammy mumbled.
Charlie hesitantly nodded her head. "What was it this time? A plate or a cup?" she asked.
"A plate," Henry answered quietly as he finished bandaging Daddy's injury. "Are you feeling better, Will?"
Daddy shrugged. "A little. Still sorta woozy."
Henry pulled Daddy up from the couch and hugged him. "I'm so sorry, Will. I didn't mean for you to get caught in the middle of this."
About four months later, Henry and Missus Emily were divorced. Missus Emily got to keep the house and a week each month to be with the twins while Henry got the rest of the month. Until Henry could find a new house for himself and the twins, the Emilys moved in with the Aftons. Nothing really changed, though, except for the presence of the twins being more frequent. And life continued on as normal.
