Chapter 13-The Last Uzumakis

"UZUMAKI Karin?!?" Naruto asked but was more of a statement

"The hell?" Kurama asked but unlike Naruto, it was an actual question then followed by another question "Isn't your clan supposed to be extinct or something, and as far as I can see she's probably a full Uzumaki?"

'Wait what? My clan's suppose to be extinct you didn't really tell me much about them nor did Dad now that I think about it' Naruto said to Kurama

"Well you didn't ask about it and as far as I remember your exact words were....." Kurama said but he was cut off by a cinematic cut

Flashback

Naruto was in the hospital after Mokoro confronted him because of him killing a Jōnin but then thought about something then, asked Kurama

"Hey, Kurama now that I know I'm like the chosen one of the Namikaze Clan or something" Naruto said then asked "Can you tell me anything about the Uzumaki Clan?" but he saw that Kurama didn't know how to explain it so tried to give him some examples 'Like their abilities, or physical traits'

"Well, they had red hair, high chakra reserves, strong life force, weird adamantine chains, and naturally good at fuinjutsu" Kurama said

"Woah thanks, Kurama you're great" Naruto said to Kurama and looking at him in his mindscape and giving him a grin and a thumbs up

"Of course I am, I'm the Kyuubi no Youko the strongest being in the world" Kurama said boasting to his container

End Of Flashback

'Fine, at least I know there's no reason to argue' Naruto said to Kurama letting it go again

"Hi, can you spell that out for me?" Naruto requested Karin to make sure that she was part of the Uzumaki Clan

'Does he know about my clan or something?' Karin asked herself wondering why the blonde boy made the request

"K-A-R-" Karin said but was cut off by the whiskered boy that asked her "Only the Uzumaki part please" when Karin heard this she rolled her eyes and was almost positive that the guy knew about her clan but still what was asked then asking her own question "U-Z-U-M-A-K-I, is that good?"

"Ah so very interesting" Naruto said cryptically but Karin didn't like the cryptic way the kid said so she spoke up and asked her suspicions "Do you know about the Uzumaki Clan or something"

"Yes but the reason I asked is my name is" Naruto said but stopped to build suspense and form a smirk on his face then continued "Uzumaki Naruto, yup Uzu-ma-ki and if you need it U-Z-U-M-A-K-I" After Naruto said that his smirk turned to a full-blown grin

"What?" Karin asked in complete confusion "But how? The Uzumaki Clan is extinct my mother said I'm probably the last Uzumaki to have the last name Uzumaki" Karin asked then said matter-of-factly

"Well our clan is extinct but you're wrong about you being the only person to have the last name of Nami- I mean Uzumaki" Naruto said but slipped up almost saying his other clan and no one was supposed to know about that yet

"I guess she could've been wrong" Karin said in a sad tone remembering her mother as she just went up to a desk and just sat down quietly without flinching which Naruto got confused by

'She has a problem or something I wonder if I can ask Hokage-jiji' Naruto thought curiously thinking that the Hokage would know because if he didn't no one probably would

1 Hour Later

For the past hour, nothing much happened, you could see students socializing and meeting each other. Naruto was there sitting and talking with Shikamaru from time to time and while talking with the boy he met Choji who seemed like a really pleasant guy but Naruto swore that he seemed to have an endless amount of potato chips.
