AMBER

      

        "Lend me your phone, witch." Ryu said in the middle of deafening silence  right after Gray asked me if i know his number.

"Ano ba yan, wala na ngang dalang pera, wala pang selpon." Jeremy whispered as if we can't hear him. Ryu threw a dagger look on him in return.

"Kukunin ko lang number mo Amber." sabi ni Ryu na may diin ang bawat salita habang nakatingin kay Jeremy para takutin. I faced him with confused look.

"Stop beating around the bush, Ryu. What is it again this time?" I said.

"Ah right, mom wants to have dinner with us." Ryu said.

"No need to have my number then." I said while biting the last piece of my cheesecake.

"Then how am I going to contact you PRINCESS AMBER?" Ryu said with a smirk. Halatang nang aasar sa pagtawag niya sa akin ng 'princess Amber'.

"Ihahatid nalang kita Amber sa mansion." Gray finally talked, still with his poker face. Now that he said that I wonder what mansion we'll have our dinner with.

"No need to offer a lift to Amber, Gray. It is on me." Sabay wink ni Ryu. He look so stupid with that.

"P-pupunta din ako sa mansion these coming days, so which mansion?"Gray said. Hindi parin natinag sa sinabi ni Ryu. He's like determined na ihatid ako, maybe not trusting Ryu.

"Why not offer a lift to Zywon too? You are coming right? Mom would be very very very sad!" Ryu said with his dramatic actions. I don't know that he had drama lessons before. Gray was a bit annoyed now.

"Of course." Hindi naman masyadong nagtitipid si Zywon hindi ba. Napaka haba naman ng sinabe.

"Well then we are settled, Amber your phone?" Ryu said while he's shoving his hands on my face.

"Fine! fine! Just don't text me with your nonsense! A-and prank calls!" I lend him my phone and he start looking for my contacts.

"Woah so it's true. Walang nakasave na contacts dito." He said while scribbling on my phone. After he found my number, he immediately tossed my phone back to me.

"I'll text you what time the dinner is, stay tuned, witch." Ryu said with his usual smirk, how annoying he is when he does that.

"Excuse me guys, I think we need to go, malapit na matapos ang lunch break." Math said. Looking concerned on us.

"Amber, ihatid mo nalang ako sa parking lot." Ryu said. Wow, the audacity right now. Pagkatapos ng lahat nang pagbabanta niya sa buhay ko and purposely annoy me.

"Ha nakapunta siya sa canteen mag-isa, bakit hindi kaya umalis mag-isa." Jeremy said. He whispered again as if we can't hear him. Si Ryu naman halatang nag titimpi kanina pa kay Jeremy. Siguro kung wala kami dito ay baka nalumpo na si Jeremy.

"No. Ma-lalate na si Amber for our next subject. Go on your own, Ryu." Gray said coldly. He held my hand. Tinignan ko iyon and it made me feel something on my stomach, oh, maybe sa kinain ko lang ito. Gray noticed it too and he slowly let go of my hand. I am as red as tomatoes. Good thing no one from our group saw it.

        
            Honestly, I am a bit excited on mom's invitation. She really treats me as if her own daughter, after all that happened to us, and I am genuinely happy for that.Simula nang mamatay si Daddy ay mag-isa nalang ako sa bahay kaya siguro iniisip nilang malungkot ako. So I went shopping with Math to pick some casual dress that I will wear on the dinner. Nandito kami ngayon sa mall and currently namimili sa mga nakadisplay sa rack.
