Since the rescue, Ashley and Beth had found that they had a lot in common. Gabriel watched them from afar. He looked at Ashley and felt his heart give a strange little flutter. He felt his cheeks grow hot. What was this feeling?! He heard the pirate with the short brown hair,
"Ellegaard," He greeted her, his eyes not moving off the princess. Ellegaard looked at him curiously,
"Are you okay, Captain?"
Gabriel took a deep breath and nodded. He fingered his necklace. He saw the island draw closer. He took a steadying breath and closed his eyes. When he opened them, the feeling had passed. He came up to Beth and smiled, "We're almost there, hermana." Beth returned the smile. The captain put a hand on her shoulder and then called to the crew at large, "We're almost there, get ready to heave to!" Ash watched the hustle of the crew and met Gabriel's eyes, "Captain?"
"Yes, Princess?"
"Why have you taken me here?"
Gabriel sighed, "Freedom from all the rules and to lift the curse,"
Ashley gasped, "What curse?!"
Gabriel glared at the horizon, "The one Captain Soren Blackheart put upon this ship and its crew."
Ashley smiled at him, "Definitely lift that curse! I don't really know this Soren person, but what I do know is that I don't like him!"
Gabriel looked at her in surprise. Ashley rubbed the back of her neck, "I just the know the Blackheart line is a very bad group of pirates indeed," She blushed a little, "Next to them, you're rather nice,"
Gabriel blushed and walked back to the helm which he had temporarily left in a members' care. Ashley turned back to Beth and insulted Soren. Beth laughed and joined in on insulting him.

The Nightmare moored beside the island. Gabriel smiled. Soon, he could face him at full strength. He disembarked and told the crew and Ashley to follow. To her surprise, she wasn't bound like she expected. She disembarked with Beth walking next to her. They couldn't help but keep insulting Soren. Gabriel walked them to a cave. Gemstones and jewels lined the walls. A river ran through to a tall rock in the centre of the cave and circled around it. On top of the rock was a model of The Nightmare with a purple veil around it. Gabriel walked up to rock and produced a knife. Ashley screamed. The knife slit the captain's wrist and he drew in his breath sharply. Ashley paled horribly as the blood trickled onto the model. "A-Are you alright?" She asked faintly. Gabriel nodded,
"Fine. Just need your royal permission for the curse to be lifted!"
Ashley took a deep breath, "I give my royal permission for the curse upon The Siren's Nightmare to be lifted,"
The veil over the model lifted. The model floated down from the rock and onto the river; it sailed away onto a hole in the cave. The cave erupted with cheers and Bethany ran to Gabriel and hugged him. Tears were streaking down her cheeks. Ashley smiled. Maybe being kidnapped wasn't so bad. Maybe.

A/N: That scene was definitely 'not' inspired by Curse of the Black Pearl. Definitely
