I watch in admiration as he makes his way on stage and puts on the Coyotes jersey. I couldn't be more proud of him. Soon, the draft was over and it was just us. Jakob drove us back to our hotel.
We got back to our room and just relaxed for a while, kind of taking it all in. After a little while, he starts to talk.
"I'm gonna miss you." I was so confused. "What do you mean?" "I'm gonna have to move to Arizona and I'm gonna miss you because you won't be there with me." "Jakob, I want to move to Arizona with you. I want to go wherever you go. That's what I planned on doing." "But I don't want to take you away from all your family." "Jakob, you are my family."
"Are you sure?" "I've never been more sure Jakob. I want to move to Arizona with you." "Okay. I love you baby." "I love you too." We get up from cuddling on the couch and head to our room to head off to sleep.
