Kakashi POV:

I woke up to the sound of an loud bird chirping outside. Since I wasn't able to fall asleep again, I decided to get up. The house was empty and dark. I searched for an clean cup and filled it with water, quickly draining it. I placed the cup on the table and got some of my Ninja tools, I didn't already have on me. It was very bright outside and still a little cold. I performed some of my kicks, since I had still enough time till Training started. After I got bored and figured that I still had time, I decided to pick up Obito. He always sleeps in and ends up coming late. Maybe I could prevent that from happening today.

Konoha was already pretty lively and the streets were filled. I tried avoiding people as much as I could. Hastily making my way to Obito's house. Standing in front of his door, I was having a though time deciding wether to go trough his door (like a normal person would) and loose some time making my way through all the rooms (potentially meeting other people) or take the shortcut. I'll just take the shortcut..looking through his window I could see that Obito was still asleep. Stretched out on his bed, on top of his blanket.

I knocked on his window, hoping he would wake up. Which he didn't. Obito continued sleeping peacefully. I sighed and used an Trick, I had recently learned, to open the window. Jumping down I was careful not to make any loud sounds. I took a quick look around his room. It was pretty messy compared to mine, but it could be worse. On his shelf was our Group picture..Obito looked stupid on that. It caught our Team atmosphere pretty good. Reminded of the reasoning for my visit, I turned away and walked towards Obito's bed.

"!?" Slipping on some garbage I hit my head on the bed. "Argh.." I frowned. Great, now my head hurts. I should really tell Obito to clean his room. I remained on the ground for a little longer, wondering if I had woken Obito. Since I didn't hear anything I stood up. Obito was still sleeping peacefully, now turned to face the window, snuggling with his blanket. Seriously? I swear to god..if someone tries stealing from him he'll just sleep it through.

"Wake up, idiot.." I got a little angry, since it was kinda his fault that I had tripped. The worst part was that he didn't even notice.

"Hmm,..two more minutes ma."

"..." It would take some time to make him get up, however I did not want to waste so much effort. I grabbed one side of his blanket and pulled it away, with all my Might. This caused Obito to fall out of his bed, since he laid on top of the blanket.

"Waaah!! Hey?! Who—Bakashi!? What are you doing in my house??"

"..." I just started at him. A part of me wanting to accuse him of making me trip.

Obito got up and yawned loudly.

"...we're going to be late if you don't hurry." Obito looked at me, still a little confused, but nodded.

"I'll just get my stuff and change." I should mention what his messiness had caused.

"...you can wait outside?" Well this was certainly uncomfortable. I was staring at him like a creep, since i was lost in my thoughts and might have seemed like a perv. I quickly rushed outside trough his window.

Obito took ten whole minutes! I should have stayed in there and made sure he hurried. As soon as I saw him I began walking towards our Training ground, where we were supposed to meet Minato-sensei.

"Bakashi, wait up! You walk way too fast..!" T~T

"..." I didn't answer.

"Oi! Bakashi! Didn't you hear me?"

"I don't walk too fast, you're just too slow."

"Aww..come on! Please let's at least slow a tiny bit down..?" I didn't bother answering anymore, since I had already told him and wasn't gonna repeat myself.

We went on like that for a while, till Obito broke the silence.

"..oh! By the way, can we stop at a flower shop?"

"...why?" I already knew. It was somehow very hurtful, sometimes even making me wish I didn't know. Living blinded by your own wrong, but seemingly comfortable believe might feel nice, but won't be worth it.

"Umm..you know! For the most prettiest girl alive, Rin!" Obito grinned awkwardly, but happy.

I hated it. Why was my life so painful, while others weren't? I just wanted a normal life and a normal family...

Obito POV:

"Look Bakashi! We're here! Which flowers should I get her??"

"..I never agreed to help you."

"Wow..! Great help, thanks!"

"..." Kakashi gave me an uncomfortable starte.

"Alright, alright..! Thanks for accompanying me here, I guess." Kakashi's expressions remained unknown for me and so did his emotions.

"...you can go now or else you'll be late." If that didn't get him back to his senses I didn't know either.

"..." Since he didn't answer I figured that I should just enter the shop.

I really wasn't an expert with flowers and I heard every flower has a special meaning depending on their color or something...I really didn't want to get it wrong and make her dislike me. After a while I decided it probably wasn't that important and since girls like flowers, Rin will hopefully like them regardless of their color. I picked some Roses since they stand for love and even I knew that.

I turned around to search for the cashier but was met with an more familiar face.

"Waah!- Bakashi! What are you doing here?? You scared me..!"

"stop screaming, moron.."

"Hmm?" The attention of everybody in the shop was focused on us by now. I felt their eyes piecing through me and a shudder went down my spine.

"..ah." That's what he meant. I felt somewhat embarrassed and quickly went to the cashier. After I got my wallet from my pocket I noticed my mistake.

"Awww..seriously? I don't have enough money left!" I was about to retrieve but Bakashi put some yen on the table, paying off the missing money.

"Thank you so much Bakashi..! You're my savior..~" I gave him a big hug to demonstrate my overflowing gratitude.

"What are you doing..?" He pushed me off and made his way outside. I quickly thanked the cashier and grabbed the flowers, running after Kakashi.

After that our walk was accompanied by awkward silence.

"...do you think she'll like the Flowers?" Kakashi gave me an meaningful look.

"Your right..."

I noticed Kakashi acting a little weird, he seemed kinda nervous. Sometimes he just randomly walks faster and suddenly slows down again. I didn't wanna say anything though, since I was worried it would make him feel worse. Maybe it was because he was going to be late for his first time..and it was because of me.

Kakashi POV:

I lend Obito some money..he'll probably forget to pay me back. Which is okay though. I don't mind it. I can cook for myself anyways...

It's not like anyone will be waiting at home for me, so I'll just train all day, maybe I can make up to their expectations if I try harder.

"!!" Something touched my right hand. I quickly turned my head, while grabbing an Kunai with the other hand- my eyes met Obito's, who had grabbed my right hand.

"It's okay, Bakashi. Well just run the rest of the way!" He grinned at me, turned his head to face the street and started running. And so did I. Our hands were still intwined...I felt save. I didn't want to let go and loose this comfortable warmth. I quickly returned the Kunai to its pocket, glad Obito hadn't noticed my overreaction.
