IT'S OUR FIRST DAY to do our punishment. Saturdays are supposed to be spent resting but today we have to go to school to clean the area assigned to us. Nakakainis pero okay lang dahil alam ko naman every action there's consequences.
"Are you going now, baby?" Tanong ni dad nang makasalubong ko siya sa hagdan.
"Yeah, Dad."
Dad smiled at me. "Ihahatid kita baka mamaya kung ano nanaman ang mangyari sayo."
"Ano naman ang mangyayari sa'kin, Dad? They can bully me but if they physically hurt me, I hope you know that I can fight, Dad." I chuckled at naglalambing akong yumakap sa braso ni Dad habang pababa kami.
"But I also hope you know that you just can't use your strength whenever you want. Remember the levels."
"I keep that in mind, Dad." I chuckled.
Gaya nga nang sabi niya ay inihatid niya ako papuntang school. Dad is overprotective but he also know the limits pero minsan kahit sa pinakamaliit na bagay ay over siyang mag react which I find it cute. He's the sweetest Dad!
"Daddy, when are we gonna visit grandma again?"
Naalala ko kasi na hindi pa siya lubos na magaling nung umalis kami.
"Maybe next month, still not sure though."
"Why next month? Hindi ba siya ililipat sa Italy, Dad?"
"I don't know. I wasn't there, baby."
Natawa ako nang bahagya dahil tama naman siya. Minsan hindi rin siya maganda kabonding kasi lagi siyang hindi updated.
"What's the latest chika about do'n sa nag try pasukin yung security HQ sa Germany?"
"Baby, I don't know the chismis. They are taking care of everything that is happening there. So don't worry." Tumawa si Dad sa paraang nang-aasar.
Lately palagi silang busy ni Mom but when I need them they will definitely drop everything for me. Like, nang ipatawag ang parents Mom was very busy in our company in Germany while Dad is busy with his OJT students yet when I told them na pinatatawag sila ni Dean hindi nagdalawang isip si Mommy na sumama. I am that blessed.
Pagkarating namin sa parking lot ay wala pa ang mga sasakyan ng kasama ko kaya nanatili muna si Dad para samahan ako.
"Do you wanna buy snacks?" Dad asks.
"Sure, bibilhan ko na din sila para pag nagutom kami later."
Tumango si Dad at sumakay ulit kami para maghanap ng convenient store.
"Kung bakit naman kasi nasasali ka diyan sa kalokohan na 'yan, Florence Syrene."
Natawa ako. "Dad, I'm just teaching him a lesson that he can't bully anyone."
"But you shouldn't be the one doing that. It should be his parents."
"Well, unfortunately, I witnessed how he shouts at his mother when Dean were talking to us. He's not ashamed that he's doing that to her mother in front of us."
Tumango-tango si Dad at napailing.
"Marami na talaga ang mga batang hindi marunong gumalang. Next time you encounter one please don't put yourself into trouble. Your mom is very stressed nowadays and she's thinking of how she will get you out of the trouble especially now that Christoff leaves their home."
"What? why?" Gulat kong tanong.
"His father lectured him about the real owner of your school and its shareholders."
"That's it? He left their home because of that? isn't that over dramatic?" Sarkastikong sagot ko at natawa si Dad.
"You should be very careful, okay? as much as possible distance yourself when trouble is there regardless of what they say."
