Juliette McCall, grew up with a pretty average life, if you count her father leaving, getting a kidney transplant, oh, and having a werewolf best friend, to be normal.
Her werewolf best friend, Derek Hale. The two met during their first day of freshman year. And ever since then, they were pretty inseparable. Derek trusted her, and he trusted her enough to tell her about his secret.
To Derek's surprise Juliette didn't run or scream, instead she just laughed. He was confused until she told him why she was laughing, and from that moment, Derek thought that there was an upside to being a werewolf.
That thought didn't last very long.
Sophomore year.
Paige was her friend, and when Paige told her about how Derek played basketball in the hallways while she tried to practice playing her cello, Juliette decided to talk to him. And when he told her that he had taken in interest in her she was estatic. She had made it her mission to help them get together.
Paige and Derek were the cutest couple to Juliette, she would help Derek plan some of their dates, aid Paige in choosing outfits for said dates, and would talk both of them down when they would get nervous to see each other.
Everything was going amazing. Until Peter, Derek's uncle, convinced Derek to do something that not even Juliette suspected.
Derek was going to make Paige get the bite.
As the saying goes, everything good must come to an end. And that's exactly what happened to Paige and Derek. But most importantly, Paige's life.
