He was pissed and I knew it, I probably shouldn't have gotten into a massive fight with Beth at the supper table, but I wasn't gonna let her get away with saying such bitchy things about me minding my own business because I am not a Dutton. He came storming in the bedroom and said "are you gonna apologize to her?" "No" I looked him dead in the eyes and said then continued " why am I any less of a Dutton then Rip or hell even Jamie! I take care of the kids, I work the ranch, I help with publicly, and yet she gatekeeps this fucking ranch" "hey I am not saying she can't be hard to get along with" he interjected. "You kinda are" I stopped him and said "listen I am not trying to fight with her but how much does it take for her to respect someone" "that's the problem with Beth, she does respect you she just hates to show it or get attached" "you calling her out upset her I think because she cares about you" "oh Christ, now I should probably go talk to her before she drinks the whole bar" "ya probably babe"
