"Fuck off." the sweat drops down the top of my nose as I fight the urge to throw up. "C'mon one more round" Michael shouts at me. He quickly discovered that just a very rough language and loud screaming would motivate me. Our poor neighbors...  The anger I feel for him is somehow also the motivation to lift my body ofg the floor once more and start swinging these shitty robes up and down. Never in my life I felt unfitter than right now as I was basically completely destroyed after the first four 'stations' as the personal hell trainer calls them. Daniel mostly did double the time of what I am doing and since he did some shit previous to me I feel incredibly weak. "5" he screams. My head must be so red from being tense, that I probably look like the red Hulk without the muscles. I don't want to know how much my muscles hate me right now, 21 years I didn't trained them at all. A run was the most exclusive thing, but besides that I am just too lazy. And now they going through hell. They seem to have enough as they punish me with incredible pain. "4" But the pain is good since that is such a strong thing to keep going so my hands fly up and down even faster then before. "3" I nearly did it. And I promise I will give my body another 21 years to recover from this hellride when I survive this. Just a few more seconds. "2" my breath burns in my lungs like hell. It's time to stop. "1" Michael shouts at me and I give it all one last time." Done" not only the robes drop down to the floor but my body just next to them. With fast raising chest I feel the world turning around me. The sun comforts my muscles with its warmth as I lie there like a starfish trying to catch breath. "You alright?" Daniel's face pops over me blocking the sun to kiss my face. He really tries to hold back his laughter but a smirking still plays around his mouth. "Fuck off" If my arms wouldn't burn like fire I would raise one to show him my middlefinger. "You did good" he sits down next to me looking up to the sky enjoying the warmth himself. "I will see you two tomorrow. Bye" I hear Michael's voice. Yeah you better disappear otherwise when I would have enough breath I would probably kick his arse. Not in the literal way but I wish since he put me through so much pain he feels some himself. "Bye Dude, see ya." Daniel waves his best friend goodbye. "I hate you" I scream without getting any response. "He is gone already" the Aussie laughs. As we absorb the sun, my breath slowly normalizes. "I don't know how you do that daily" my head turns
towards Danny, who sits there with his hands resting on his knees and grins. "It's my job" "Fair enough" I chuckle slowly rediscovering my humor. "Grab a water" he gets up and pulls my hand up so I land basically in his arms. His shirt is soaked in sweat just like mine and the muscles under my hands are tight while they try to relax after the workout. "Fit" I wink and give him a slight slap on his chest before walking past him back inside towards the fridge. When I open up the doors a cold breeze comforts my skin, which is a beautiful for a change. My hand chooses the sparkling water and while I pull us two big glasses of it Daniel makes his way over the counter. After putting the water back in the place where if belongs we cheer to each other and nip from the refreshment. Tell me what you, what you really really want Immediately I recognize the ringtone I only have for my sister and grab my phone from the counter. "Hey Liv, you won't believe it, but I just worked out." I grin and my eyes find Daniel's before he also grabs his phone to check his messages. A soft smile dances around his lips when taking another sip of the water. "Anna, are you alone?" my sisters voice sounds tired and the fact she completely ignored my news is concerning. "No Daniel is here. Why?" He looks over to me in confusion, I shrug my shoulders at him in response not knowing what's going on myself. I try to make it a little bit more comfortable for myself and hop on the counter dangling my legs from the edge giving them the break they deserve. "I need to tell you something important Anna." I stare against the fridge in confusion. Millions of thoughts run through my mind. Is she pregnant? Did she and her boyfriend broke up again? Whatever it is, it's definitely not good recording to the sound of her voice. "Okay, what's up?" I grab the glass again to erase this dry feeling in my throat. "I am sick Anna. I have lung cancer" Everything stands still. Just the glass with the water drops out of my hand and past my legs in slow motion shattering in millions of pieces when it touches the floor.
