You were like a drug,
and i was addicted.
You were good for me,
i couldn't get enough of you.
You never got old to me,
you still gave me that same erupting feeling.
every single time it was like that,
like you put me in a trance of extreme emotion.

You were my reason of happiness,
you treated me like i was the world.
We'd spend hours talking to each other every single day.
We talked for over 10,000 minutes,
did you know that?
It was only for a month but that was the best month of my life.

One day i'll have to leave our talks and all of it behind,
I can't stay in the past forever,
no matter how good it feels.
I have to go on into the future.
Leaving behind my first love.

I wonder if i'll forget you,
i doubt it.
You made me feel like no other,
You were like a shot of caffeine.
Even though it was short,
we made the most of it.
For i will always remember who you were,
and i will not forget who i was with you.
