You were sweet like candy,
When i saw you i couldn't help but want you.
You were wrapped beautifully,
It was like you were for me.
You were a strong and hard candy,
you left a burst of emotions on my tongue.
Those words and emotions bubbled over,
i spoke those emotions and words to you.
You were a gift,
You were all i ever wanted.
I begged and begged for you as i was just a child in a candy shop.
You were my sweet candy i so dearly loved.
But at some point the candy is no longer,
It was like you were gone right away.
The sweet taste you left on my tongue turned bitter and the taste wouldn't leave.
I cried and cried for another candy,
You were my favorite.
I never got that candy again,
and that bitter feeling still stays.
