I knew I was being overly insensitive for mouthing wtf about her writing Jovan as my perfume during the interview. Honestly, I didn't know that brand of perfume and I personally do not use a perfume. So for her to make up one may maisulat lang sa papel was unexpected.

Ang nakatagal lang ay ang pag-schedule ng leave niya. Hindi agad siya pinayagan ng ospital so na-cancel ang unang booking. I had to tell my dad to pull strings para makakuha kami ng flight na sakto sa leave niya para hindi kami magsayang ng araw. We were provided a first class flight sa mismong airlines where my father was connected.
Sinundo kami ng pamilya niya gamit ang Pajero namin na inihatid ni daddy sa bahay ng parents niya nang nakalipas na gabi. My mom and dad arranged our stay in a honeymoon suite in Okada Manila for two weeks courtesy of one of the primary sponsors na ninong ko din sa binyag.
Matagal nang naibenta ang condo unit ko at wala akong balak bumalik ng matagal sa Pilipinas in the near future. We were fine in the States.
We met my family in one of the restaurant in Okada Manila. Cheska was wary and delighted at the same time. I kept on holding her hand for support. Para hindi siya ma-shock kung bigla man siyang makaalala.

We then realized that she had forgotten only a few months of her life before the accident. Also the few months before her first love got married. Nakakasama tuloy ng loob. Parang ang mga nakalimutan niya ay iyong mga panahon na mula noong makilala niya ako at una kaming makapag-usap. Which was somewhere around her graduation day.
She might have really been broken hearted to actually pick a time that she would forget among her life's event.
During the meal, nagsesenyasan lang kaming lahat sa kung ano ang puwede at hindi puwedeng pag-usapan. A lot of times Cheska would turn to Jannah about things that she wanted to know and to do. She asked about me. Kung nasaan ako tuwing pupunta siya sa bahay namin. And my sister told her the truth pero hindi sinabi kung saan kami unang nagkita.
She also asked Jannah to introduce her to Kayla. Gusto niyang makausap ang ex ko. Naiiling na lang ako na binulungan siya while I pulled her waist closer. "Eat, baka lumamig ang pagkain mo."
Playfully, she whispered back. "Are we going to have that wholesome honeymoon again?"
I chuckled. "Unless you want to change it."
Umiling lang siya at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.
