"Goddammit, why are they so easily getting defeated? it's like they outnumber them in 1:3 yet they are unable to land a hit, it's bullshit, we can't help them in time" Shtorm complains

"Agree, they lack something called the training" CVN-80 agrees

"Can we reach them in time? I can feel like they will going to lose even when we intervene" Shtorm asks

"Unlikely but I think at least 1-2 of them will keep standing" CVN-80 replied

"Good, enough time to help them I guess" Shtorm relieved

In Azur Lane remaining force

As much as the unknown forces tried to help, they still stood no chance against the 5th carrier, with Hammann downed first, the only ship girl that still stands is Hornet, alone without help yet, she founds that her situation is tight, and not able to launch any planes because of constant attack, Hornet stuck in never-ending evasive maneuvers dodging any bombs and torpedoes dropped from sakura's 5th Carrier division, as much as she tries to dodge, she now getting tired, the constant attack is like a machinegun firing, it never ends as she panting

"God, I am not suitable for defense, this attack isn't even stopping, where are our reinforcements, I can't hold any longer" Hornet groans as she dodges another bomb dropped

"Surrender already, our melody of requiem streaks anything of the dead" Shoukaku said in the middle of the bombing spree against Hornet trying to at least hit her with the bombs albeit unsuccessful due to her dodge around the bombs easily

Hornet, although having little to mediocre damage, is still able to keep her legs supporting her body, albeit in stamina she is not sure to fully counterattack them, with many attempts to dodge

Then as she is jumping around dodging the dive bombing attempt, there is one girl, Zuikaku managed to enter her blind spot and lunges forward in an attempt to slash her when she is sure that the katana is near the Hornet jacket confirming the slash will be unavoidable, there is loud gunfire that is targeting at her, as such surprise attack, she can block the bullets strafing to her, however in a vain attempt to slash Hornet letting her away

The plane is painted blue with V-shaped wings on each side with US Navy insignia on each wing and in the fuselage, the carrier is Enterprise CV-6 (not to be mistaken with CVN-80) with her bows drawn with golden arrows firing every single plane of the 5th Carrier division

"Hornet, from now here I will take over the attack, meet Cleveland there to help to seek your injuries" Enterprise quickly did while unleashing the arrow barrage

With that the enemy turned on against Enterprise, Hornet quickly search Cleveland seeking aid, with a small ski, she managed to reach Cleveland in time before she kneeled for exhaustion

"Woah there slow down Hornet you're just burned out from the battle, let's meet with other members they will help you out" Cleveland suggesting Hornet as she helps Hornet

With other members aided mostly from battle, Hornet is the land one reaching the group albeit the only one who has less injury, she is surely exhausted letting the small sigh for every step they took

Unfortunately, before they could deploy their ship for protection, they heard a cannon fire up from their left side, there is a sharky-built hull with red and black paint shining through the ship added up with the cross painted shooting at the shouting

Luckily the group dodged in time although there is a noticeable slowness for the extra load they carried, looking for the culprit, they see the early 20th girl with white hair giggling at them
