Evan pov •

While I was eating my cake I noticed Lily staring at the table while continuously drinking her smoothie I knew she was distracted so I called out to her repeatedly

Until she snapped out of it, she looked at me and asked if what's wrong and I responded

"Are you okay? you seem off earlier"

"nothing much"

then I raised a brow and thought 'what nothing it wasn't a define answer but there is something I guess?'

"are you alright?"

then she looked at me calm and touched her head looking like she's having some photo shoot

then she put her hand down and faced her cupcake again and gave me a nod

then she started to eat it again, I didn't mind that she didn't tell me and understand her so I finished my cake and smoothie and by the time I was done she was also done

then she raised her hand and asked for a waiter I thought she wants a take out or something but then she asked for the bill

she said then I looked at her shocked and I immediately talked to her

"I can pay the bill it's alright"

"No I invited you here and drove you here I should pay it"

"It's alright you need the money for your car remember"

"Oh it's fine since brought my credit"

then the waiter interrupted us and hand the bill over to her then she pulled out a black card and gave it to the waiter the waiter left then she looked at me again and became quiet

Then after he gave me a nod we both got quiet so I took my phone out and checked for recent news then I came across the news about the Lowell's

but I wasn't interested in it for now so I checked other one's and found one that caught my interest and thought 'So they haven't caught the kid yet although I was the one that sent that little con artist into prison in the past.... I feel so sad we don't even know each other in this timeline, I guess I'm pretty lonely now although I'm with a friend'

then I continued to scroll around until the waiter came back and gave me my card I thanked him and Evan started to jump out of his seat and drag me out of the restaurant

then the waiter walked us out and see us off but just seeing the waiters face makes me think that mother cheated on father since he looked exactly like me and Shane but I didn't mind since the waiter might be a doppelganger

as I was driving us to a car store that I thought of, Evan was talking about an illustrator online that he recently befriended he said that that was recently new online and saw his first post, Evan offered them a deal of being his friend after offering it to the world and they accepted it since it wasn't that hard
