Toni's pov

She looked dead. My father is dead to me. My mother is dying. I can't take this anymore

     "I'll sign the documents just leave her"

     "You must really love her. But I've changed plans son"

I growled "You wanted the company I'm giving it to you now leave her the fuck alone"

He laughed. Luca fucking laughed

     "I told you change of plans"

     "What do you want? "

     "Your mother. My wife"

Is he crazy? Does he think I'll give up my mom

      "Let my sister go you piece of shit" Jax shouted

     "Now which of the brothers are you"

     "Your death" Jaxon said seething

     "Getting threatened by a teenager. Wow that's a new one"

He laughed at stopped abruptly pointing a gun at Rea's head

     "Luca! Let the girl go. You can have me" I heard mom shout

     "Always a puppy Cara. But I don't want you if you will come so easily "

     "Do you think I want to come with you" my mom said dangerously coming closer to him

I wanted to go after her but Logan held me back

     "Do you think I want to live with a monster like you. It was a test Luca. A fucking test. There was another will Luca, a will that guaranteed your ownership of the company if you could suck up the shame and care for your son. But you didn't and see where you ended up. Holding a girl at gun point"

There was another will?

     "There was another will and you're just telling me now"

     "Of course I am "

I watched him unlock the safety of his gun and aim it directly on Rea's chest. At her heart. I pointed my gun at him. And I noticed a few others too.

He laughed "You don't scare me"

And he pushed the trigger. There was no way I would get to Rea on time so I just shot

But what I saw shocked me. Mom jumped and took the bullet, falling over the cliff and into the river

     "I was going to die anyway" she whispered

She couldn't leave me

I blacked out

I woke up in the hospital

     "How are you feeling"

     "Fine" I spat at aunt Lucia

     "I know it's hard but you gotta stay strong"

     "Can we come in" I heard a soft voice outside the door

     "Yeah" Aunt Lucia said and left

Rea's siblings came in

     "How are you doing "

I nodded at Belle

     "You can talk to us right? " Zane said

     "Why" I croaked out

     "Why what? "

     "Why do you still associate your selves with me. I've caused you so much paim"

     "You're the best thing that happened to Rea " Drew gave a sad smile

     "And you're our friend"

     "Thanks but I can't forgive myself"

     "Don't beat yourself up for it"

     "Where is she? " I asked

     "Coma" they all said at once

Great. fucking great. My mom's dead and my girlfriend is in a coma.

The doctor said they have no idea when she'll wake up. This is all my fault. If only I didn't meet her. I hate this
