"Ajumma I already said you have to finish your payment this month.you just never gave my payment on time ajumma." A guy spoke who is wearing a chetah pattern shirt and black pants with a intimidating face as he banged the door on where he holding his conversation with his debtor.
"Please just excuse me for a few days I will definitely pay you back. " The old lady pleaded as she joined her hands begging the man infront of her.
"I am not a charity you know--" before the scary guy get to finish he was interrupted by a worried voice.
"M-mom."A tall and slender guy who is wearing a typical school dress came to the entrance of a shabby house happily after his school was finished he was happy cause he is going to see his mother soon after a long day.but seeing his mother suddenly on ground infront of an unknown man made his bambi eyes slightly widen as he immediately came beside his mother.
"Mom are you ok?" The tall guy asked Worriedly as he checked on his mother for any injuries and released a sigh when he didn't see one.
"I am ok Heeseung ah." His mother said reassuring him."you should go inside I kept snacks in the fridge.I will just have a small talk with mr.john."his mother ushered the worried and confused boy into the house.and locked the door from the outside as she again faced mr.john.
"Ooh I don't know you have a beautiful son huh." The 30 year old man said as he still looking at the door in a daze.
"Please don't bring my son into this issue I am going to pay you tomorrow." Mrs lee said as she stood protectively towards the door.
"Psh you know you can get all your debt cleared and you don't have try so hard to earn that puny money." The man offered as he cocked a smirk to the older woman.
"And how can it be possible ?" Mrs.lee asked already knowing where this will conversation will lead to but she hoped it would not what she thinks it is.
"Your son why don't you make him work for me huh?I can even give a good pay and even may be let your interest decrease what do you thin--" and before the guy could continue talking with his disgusting mouth mrs.lee interrupted.
"No I will pay it by my own.pls don't involve my son in all this mess." Mrs.lee said sharply after pleading so much just before which startled the john guy cause he had always seen the woman always pleading but for the first time she talked back just because he mentioned her son.
"Ha ok ok.I will not ask anymore but you have to pay tomorrow or I am gonna drag your boy with me to work. you understand ?" the john guy said and mrs lee firmly nodded.with that john had set off from the shabby house.and mrs lee opened the door to see his son at the door she knew he was standing there only,without snacking as her mom said to.
"Mom what's happening?" Is the only thing that came out of heeseung.but his mom remains silent.as there was no answer from his mother heeseung continued
"You think I wouldn't know that you took a debt?" Heeseung said as he looked at his mom.as there was no answer he still continued.
"What is this debt for?" Heeseung asked again there was no answer.so he continued.
"Is it for my school?"Heeseung asked again as his voice had been going very soft with each with a hint of sadness.
" heeseung ah--"mrs.lee started and heeseung knew where this conversation going.
"Yeah.if only our business hadn't been bankrupted I would have been in a good school and we lived in a more better condition.yes mom I know it but I don't hate --" Heeseung said he paused for a second before he sighed and continued
"I am ok as long as I am with you so don't think you're not giving me enough."Heeseung said as his eyes slightly watered as salt water stared coming out of his eyes.
" even when I lost dad at least I thought I had you so please mom don't neglect yourself just to give the high facilities.I don't need them."Heeseung said as he bit his bottom lip to stop crying.
And seeing heeseung like this was very difficult for mrs.lee so she immediately hugged her son as she patted his back slightly.
"I am sorry ." is the only thing mrs.lee said.after listening to his son.
"Mom give the money back you took for my school fees." Heeseung said as he broke the hug.
Mrs.lee widened her eyes and started "no I can't you will need the money for school.you can't drop out--" amd before mrs.lee continued heeseung cut her off.
"Mom I will not drop out and I am also going go to a even better school than this so you don't have to worry about me." Heeseung said smiling slightly.
"What?how?" His mother questioned as she has a very confused expression on her face.
"I had applied to seoul hybe school from the recommendation of my teachers.and I had also given my written test and the results came that I passed the test.and they put me in a scholarship students list ." heeseung explained as his mom trying to process it cause she can't believe her son is going to hype school which is one of the most influential school which can get you straight into top universities around the world after graduation and to talk about the students there they are just superly and crazily rich.had accepted her son among those lakhs of exam applicants made her shocked and also mostly beoyond happy that she gave her son a bright smile.but dropped immediately when she remembered something.
"Seungie but how are you going to stay there and the expenses..we will need money so how about just keeping the money with us I will pay them after." His mom said.
"No mom give the money back to them.I already know a friend who have a place for me to stay and help me find part time job so I can just live by myself.so pls give them their money back." Heeseung pleaded as he hold his mom's hand and giving slight squeeze to reassure her.
Mrs.lee sighed deaftedly as she said "huh I can never win against you."
"Thank you mom." Heeseung shouted happily as he hugged her mom tightly.
