Y/N's POV
Y/N: To understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to do something
first. You need to believe in the impossible. Can you do that? Good. Now, imagine you could run faster than the speed of sound. That's a little over 750 miles an hour. I am that fast. And the faster I go, the more the world slows down. I have the ability, to move through my city like a guardian angel. To save people. I am the fastest man alive. But I'm getting ahead of myself. It all started that day nine months ago. Well, earlier that day.

Dad's car, on the way to my new internship.

Dad: Really Y/N? You had a dozen companies wanting you there, and you had to pick this one?

Y/N: Dad!

I said annoyed, since Dad and I already had this conversation. 6 times!

Y/N: I like this internship. Plus, I can really help people.

Dad was accepting defeat and this point, because he knew I was a very stubborn person.

Dad: Yeah, I know. You'll help the cops catch horrible people.

Y/N: That's one reason. The other is that I'll be helping innocent people not be wrongly convicted.

I watched Dad smile, while he kept his eyes on the road.

Dad: Ever the hero, huh?

He said chuckling.

Y/N: Hey, you raised me.

I said holding my hands up defensively.

Just then, my phone started to ring. I looked down and saw that it was my internship.

I picked up the call and lifted the phone to my ear.

Y/N: Hello?

Singh: L/N. It's Captain Singh. Have you heard from Allen?

Y/N: Not recently, Captain. Why?

Singh: The Mardon brothers hit another bank this morning, and I'm missing my CSI.

Y/N: I could help out.

I offered, eager to show Singh my abilities.

Singh: I'm not so sure, L/N.

Singh said, shooting me down, but like I said, I'm stubborn.

Y/N: Please Captain. I'll help out, only 'till Barry shows up.

Singh: *Sighs* Alright. How fast can you get to Granger and Stenson?

I looked over to Dad and he held up 2 fingers.

Y/N: I'll be there in two minutes, Captain.

Singh then hung up the phone.

Dad: Isn't he cheery.

Dad said sarcastically.

Y/N: Yeah, he reminds me of you.

Dad: Hey!

We both start laughing as we pull up to the crime scene.

Dad: Good luck, son.

Y/N: Thanks, Dad.

I said as I pulled CSI case out of the back seat.

I walked over to the yellow tape and flashed my intern ID at the cop as i put on my gloves.

Y/N: Captain. Detectives.

I said as I nodded at each of them.

I looked to my side and saw a dead body, covered up. I started towards the body when Singh called me back.
