(57)

A second later, we were back in our chamber once again.

I was about to throw the pistols again, but I remembered what happened the last time, so instead I put them gently on coffee table near me.

Liz tossed me a bottle of scotch.

“Please explain what the hell that was?” she asked anyone who cared to answer.

Caleb shook his head.

“I have no idea, but right now I need some rest.”

He kissed his mother, slapped my back, and disappeared.

Art soon followed.

I slumped into a chair.

Liz walked to me and sat in my lap.

Immediately, I started getting aroused.

She was so sexy and we had not been alone for even a moment since we had became compagnon eternelle to each other.

Liz smiled.

“Mmmmm. Someone is happy to see me.”

She put her drink on the table and put her hands around the back of my neck.

I dropped my drink on the floor.

Liz laughed.

“Smooth, James.”

She leaned in and kissed me.

My heart was pounding loudly.

My hand slid under her top and to her breast.

She moaned slightly.

She stopped kissing me and leaned back, staring into my eyes.

She got off my lap and stood next to me, her hand out to me.

“Come to bed with me.”

Not a single stupid thought flashed through my head.

All I could think was how much I wanted this woman and how much I loved her.

And how much I always had.

“You have some memory back,” she said sweetly, as I stood next to her.

She pulled my head to hers and kissed me.

“I love you, James.”

I quickly picked her up in my arms and kissed her as I started walking towards the bedroom.

Suddenly the door to our chamber burst open and Deloria stormed in.

“Will someone please tell me what is going on?”

Liz and I looked at each other.

We both said, “What the fuck,” at the same time.

I lowered her slowly to the floor.

Liz stared at Deloria.

Deloria shrugged her shoulders.

“What?”

“We were kinda in the middle of something here,” Liz snapped at her.

“You guys have waited hundreds of years. A few more minutes will not matter.”

‘Hundreds of years’, I screamed in my head.

Liz looked at me.

“Don’t yell, hun.”

She looked back at her sister.

“What do you want, Deloria?”

“Where the fuck have you guys been? All kinds of shit is going down and you two suddenly disappear.”

Liz walked to her sister.

“We were meeting with Simon.”

“And how was that for you?” Deloria asked sarcastically.

“He kinda lost his head,” I deadpanned, as I went to pour myself another drink.

“What is he muttering on about?” Deloria asked.

“Simon is dead,” Liz informed her.

Deloria laughed.

“Really? Then how in the fuck did he just attack a shopping mall in New York.”

“What are you clattering about, Deloria? We just saw Simon get his head chopped off and then we blasted it to pulp.”

I walked towards Deloria.

“Simon is dead.”

“We just monitored a transmission from Earth. Simon just attacked a shopping mall in New York. He was accompanied by a unit of Ziachen soldiers. Hundreds of people were killed.”

Liz and I stared at each other.

Deloria continued.

“Not only that, but there have been attacks all over the planet. Most of them lead by members of our Royal Families.”

Liz was speechless, which was unusual.

But even more unusual, so was I.

“So, is that all I get?” Deloria demanded.

“Stupid fucking looks.”

Liz looked at me.

“Well?”

“What,” I stammered.

“She was talking to you as well.”

“Focus, people,” Deloria yelled.

“We have a fucking crisis on our hands and our King and Queen are busy trying to get laid.”

‘It has been a while’, I thought…

‘Apparently, hundreds of fucking years.’

“Not now, James,” both Liz and Deloria said at the same time.

I looked from one to the other.

“How do I get you women out of my fucking head?”

Neither answered.

Bitches.
