Okay people who thinks tohru is "mary sue" Fuck you, you dont deserve her kindness.
Tohru basically helped me in 2019-2021, which was one of the hardest moment in my life yet. I went throught a break with my bestfriend after being friends for 2 years which was a long time for me, She was the first friend i ever made in that huge school. I told ehr my secrets, about my family and everything and my heart broke when she ended our friendship and became friends with another girl and completely abondened me.
Fruits basket's tohru made me realized not to hold grudges and think that no one would ever be friends with me anymore because when something goes wrong there is always someone who will come in to your life to help you.
Anyway-
Tohru is the most lovable female character and i honestly think she'a really underrated and DESERVES MORE LOVE,
She is a good girlfriend, wife, mother and grandmother and damn i wished that my future partner has the same personality as her, but that would be impossible.
