After serving The United States Navy for 28 years The Ship that would not die was decommissioned and turned into a museum ship in at Patriots Point, outside Charleston, South Carolina.
But somehow despite the ship being saved, the soul of the ship which was created when it got the nickname the Ship that would not die was getting bored of the same thing over and over again just being a display not overhauled to participate in the modern navy of the United States but alas she was 74 years old and was springing leaks on the port hull but the day when a storm came in and took the ship to a different world
Laffey soul: Graaaaaaagh the same old day only visitors no overhauls and actions (yawn) And even if I sleep I'm still tired I don't even know what sickness this is
Suddenly a storm hits in
Laffey Soul: Wha wha whaaaaaaat a storm!!!!
The storm starts to head to DD-724 the wind making the tourists leave the ship in panic
Laffey:( Sigh) Well some days I'm lucky some days I'm not Crap!!!!!
The storm or purple storm starts sucking Laffey and actually lifts the ship of the pier and into the storm transported to another world
