Minutes had passed at nakarating na kami sa bahay. On our way here, ni kibo ay wala akong natanggap kay mommy kanina. Something's not fine talaga, but no matter what it is I'm endeavoring to know it.

Pagkapasok namin ay sinalubong kami nila manang and mommy tell them na magpahinga muna sila. For the two of us will bond, nakakamiss yung ganito. But my happiness won't fulfill dahil kulang si daddy.

"I'll just change my clothes lang po, bababa kaagad ako" sabi ko kay mommy na siya namang tinanguan ako sabay ngiti.

I didn't took long to change my clothes and stared for a minute in the sky through my window, I took a deep breathe and keep telling myself that I can do this. Hindi nagtagal at bumaba na rin. Mommy's already preparing the ingredients sa table, she did change her clothes din pala.

"Oh you're here na pala anak. It's been awhile that we were just like this" mom quote.

"Oo nga mommy, but it's the only the two of us now"

"It's okay lang anak, your dad will be joining us sa susunod. Let's start-"

"Hallelujah!" when someone suddenly opened the door lahat kami ay napagulantang when it's kuya Alfy and Luis who's there.

"Hi mom!" they first greet and kissed mom on cheeks same as me.

"Mga batang to talaga, what brings the both of you here? Both of you should be at the office at this time ah" daig ni mommy.

"Hala kayo kuya, cutting duty kayo noh?" I tried to joke even I'm hurting inside.

"Nako hindi mommy ah, we just visit a friend of mine dito rin sa subd. Teka, diba both of you ni Lia have a burial to attend? Bakit kayo magb-bake?" kuya Alfy declare.

"We've been there na ni Lia anak. We just missed to bond like this" mom remarked.

"And where's dad? He's not on his office kanina, akala ko he went in cemetery at sumunod sa inyo ni Lia mommy" kuya Luis added.

"I just bow my head and can't answer kuya Luis's question for I don't know how. Saan o paano ko uumpisahan, for I truly don't know what literally happened naman.

"We saw him kanina ni Lia sa cemetery anak. But my bad for hindi na kami nagkasalubong, pabalik na kami, papunta palang siya" sambit ni mommy which made me alarmed dahil mukhang pinatatamaan nito si daddy.

"Oh ganon po ba mom? Maybe he's on his office na or in a meeting. Hindi na kasi sumasagot sa mga tawag namin ni Alfy kanina" kuya Luis remarked and mom suddenly was in shock. Ano ba talagang nangyayare?

"Oh-uhm baka anak. Join us here ni Lia we'll gonna bake some cookies" mom spoke na siya namang na excite ang dalawa parang mas bata pa sa akin.

While we're making na, both of my kuya asked me if how am I feeling.

"I-I'm okay lang po kuya" I shortly answered.

"You sure?"

I just nod and smile in response.

"If you need someone to talk we're here for you. We'll listen, will give to you until the end of time. With us, you'll never be alone" kuya Luis said and kuya Alfy agreed upon it.

"Of course kuya, I know I'm not alone for I have you. My family" I answered at bigla naman akong pinahiran ng flour ni kuya Alfy sa mukha. Sunod naman ay si kuya Luis.

"Mommy oh, nagsisismula yung dalawa" I said and suddenly they wiped my face with a tissue so fast.

"Yung kapatid niyo naman pinagtripan niyo, kayo talaga kahit kailan. Mga bata pa din kahit ang lalaki niyo na. Here, kindly put the cookies inside the oven na " mom abruptly said and kuya Alfy was the one who put it inside.
