Malia POV:

"Mag-ingat po kayo" I told mommy and daddy when they were leaving.

"Of course anak, just call us if something happens ha" dad respond at tinanguan ko lang na sila namang nagtungo na ni mommy.

When I returned inside the house, manang abruptly called me.

"Ma'am!"

"Oh manang, ano po yun?"

"Bakit hindi niyo naman po sinabi kay mommy niyo ang nangyare sa inyo kahapon?"

"Ay ganoon po pala manang" then I took a deep breathe before to continue speaking.

"Wala po yun, ang sabi lang po ng doctor ay mukhang napagod ko lang ang sarili ko at hindi ko na gaanong naasikaso. Pero huwag po kayong mag-alala, okay na po ako"

"Sigurado po ba kayo ma'am eh bakit po ang putla niyo? Ako din kasi kahit kasambahay niyo lang po ako ay nababahala din po ako sa inyo"

"Ano kaba manang, you're just not my yaya. Parang nanay ko na rin ikaw noh, simula pagkabata ko ay ikaw na kaya ang nag-alaga sa akin, at yung pamumutla ko po is sa gamot lang po yang niriseta ng doctor sa akin, huwag po kayong mangamba" I said at nagpaalam na sa room lang muna ako.

When I went to my room, I realized it was becoming a jumble, and I hadn't been able to organize it in a long time. So I decided to clean na lang.

Someone unexpectedly called when I was cleaning. It's Oliver pala at sinagot ko naman ito.

On call

"Hi Lia, good morning "

"Hey! How are you?"

"I'm fine, sorry kung hindi ako nakatawag ulit noong isang araw. But you're going here later naman, right?"

"U-uhm going there? About what?"

"You haven't a clue what I'm talking about, have you? My mom's birthday is today, as I told you when I contacted you the other day."

"Oh! Yes, about that. I apologize for almost forgetting if you did not call me. But I didn't tell mommy and daddy we're coming, and I didn't ask their permission na makakapunta ako mamaya pero I'll simply phone them na lang"

"It's okay Lia if you can't make it. Perhaps senator Imee will be here rin mamaya"

"Really? well maybe makakapunta ako, nandyan naman pala si mama Imee. But let me just inform mom and dad para hindi sila mag-alala. And happy birthday kay tita"

"Thank you dear Lia" I was astonished when Oliver's mom on the other side of the line abruptly spoke she has been listening to Oliver and our conversation pala.

"Oh hi tita! Welcome po! I hope I can make it to be there mamaya"

"Of course you can make it my dear, oh I have something to do pa pala. Mag-usap muna kayo ni Oliver. See you later"

"Sure po, see you din po"

"Sorry for that Lia, didn't know mom's behind me" giit ni Oliver.

"It's okay lang"

"Oh one thing is I also invited Jessan and Keirt. They're also hoping na makakapunta ka"

"Well that's great, I'll inform you later. I'm cleaning my room kasi right now"

"No problem Lia, sorry to disturb you"
