"You've really talking to me after you told me that you don't want to see me again," He said with a playful smirk on his face as he brushed his hair. My lips parted a bit when I found him hot doing that.
Wala'ng pagsisi na pinatulan ko to'ng pogi'ng abogado to. Charot. Marupok masyado, chariz.
"It's because you interrupted my coffe break with Finn," Inis na sagot ko.
"Thanks to me. You've like coffe ever since we dated," He replied. "Anyways, so Finn was his name?"
"So?"
"So?" My eyebrows furrowed as I copied his words.
"Woah. Hinalikan mo 'ko tapos pagpalit mo lang ako sa isa'ng architect na yun— aguy sakit naman nun, Aubrielle!"
Dahil sa sagot niya hindi mo mapigilan matawa. "Gago ka ba? Ikaw yung humalik," hinampas ko yung braso niya. "Ano ba kasi yung sasabihin mo?"
"Nagmamadali?"
"Obvious naman diba?" I managed not to rolled my eyes.
"Ito kasi yun," He brushed his hair again, I bit my lower lip, "That kiss. I wanna talk about it."
Napatingin ako sa kanya kaya tumagpo ang mga mata namin pero agad din ako'ng umiwas.
"I don't wanna talk about it," sagot ko.
"Reason?"
"Because it's..." I paused, finding the words that would satisfy both of us.
He bit his lower lip and fixed his colar. "Wala ka masagot?"
Before I could defend myself, my phone vibrate on my pocket. One of my co-worker ask me to come back, halos mapatalon ako sa tuwa nung nabasa ko yung text na yun. I could take this advantage to get away on this situation.
"Sorry. I'll explain myself next time, I needed to get back on work," I tapped his arm and ran back to the hospital.
Mapapamura talaga ako sa wala'ng oras sa subrang kaba ko. Punyemas!

"So are you two okay now?" Pria asked after I told them what happened yesterday.
We're at the coffe shop we always used to come ever since highschool. There's many things change here but nor our noises of friendship.
"Far from what y'all been thinking," Sagot ko habang pinaglalaruan ang salad na inorder ko.
"Literal wala ako'ng naiisip beh. P'ano yan?" Tanong naman ni Reagann at inirapan ko lang siya.
"Why did you two kiss again?" Tanong ni Zeph sa'kin habang busy yung mata niya sa laptop niya.
"Aba malay ko kung ba't...ako pumatol."
"Baka nasarapan," sagot ni Reagann at nag-apir pa sila ni Pria. Ayaw ko nalang talaga mag-talk pag sila yung kaharap ko.
"Baka meron pa talaga. It's just you're being overthinking about the past between you two," Lia adviced.
"What do you mean?"
"You still love him," Zeph said without hesitation.
I froze on my sit while the three girls lips parted.
Zeph give me a quick glance before she fold her laptop and look at straight to my eyes. "You've been matured this past years but you're still slow understanding at your own feelings. Work isn't the reason why you've been single all this years, Aubrielle. It's because you're still stuck on that person. Stop being such a kid when it comes to that."
