"Aubrielle?"

I turned around and saw Ma's surprised face. Lumingon siya sa kausap niya'ng doctor din to excuse herself and walk towards me. When she get near at me I kissed her cheeks that makes her eyes widened a bit.

"Si Ate Aurie?" I asked Ma that now who's still shocked. Ang OA nito! May namana din pala ako sa side ni mama.

"On her office," sagot ni Mama at binaling ang tingin sa likod ko. "What's your name again?" She asked to Helden.

"I'm Helden po," he extended his hand for shakes hand, I thought Mama would do the same as Aurie did when Helden introduced himself. That was fucking harsh dude!

"Nice to meet you, hijo. I'm Doctor Maurice Rodriguez, but since you're my daughter's boyfriend just call me Mama or Ma," she smiled. She changed. She really did, gusto ko umiyak kaso baka masira make-up ko, sayang ginto pambili make up tapos buburahin lang ng luha? Gold amputa.

"Yie Mama daw," siniko ko si Helden na mukhang kinilig pa sa sinabi ni mama. Tumawa nalang ako nung inakbayan niya ako. Tumingin ako kay mama. "Ma sorry nga po pala..." Mahinang sambit ko.

I heard her laugh in low voice when she tap my shoulder. "It's my fault anyway for not being good mother to you," she signal us to follow us inside the hospital. "I'm sorry if I always took your Ate's side. I'm just worried about her mental health."

"Why?" I asked and pressed the floor button where Ate's office.

"Hindi sa kinakampihan ko yung Ate mo ngayon, okay? Selos na selos yun sayo, kasi nga ikaw lagi favorite ng Pa mo," she said.

I thought Pa was really the person who care for me. Kaso busy din siya palagi sa trabaho at saka sa abroad pa siya nung pinagpasapasa ako ng mga ninang, ninong at tito ko. He just knew that I was staying at Gran's place nung highschool kaya binalik niya ako sa bahay nung nakauwi siya kaso wala naman siya palagi sa bahay.

Who knows si Maurielle Rodriguez, the topnotcher and had everything she had would be jealous at her nothing to be jealous sister. Baka si Everesturie magselos din sa'kin, wahh feeling ko ang ganda ko ngayon! Charot! Assumera!

May kwenento pa si Mama about kay Aurie na kung bakit minsan ganun siya. Gosh I felt so bad! Kaya pala yung tanga hindi initindi yung feelings ni Aurie at pinili magrebelde ng kunti kaya pala galit na galit din si Mama sa'kin kasi akala niya sinisira ko na ang buhay ko.

"Aurie," Ma knocked at Ate's office before she twist the doorknob.

"Aubrielle?" Napahinto si Aurie sa ginagawa niya at napatayo. Lumapit ako sa kanya at yinakap siya. "Hey..." She said while hugging me back.

"I'm sorry," bulong ko. "I didn't know."

"Sorry, Aurie. Sinabi ko na sa kapatid mo," my mom carresed my hair. I heard Aurie replied it's okay and hugged me tighter.

Maybe if we weren't let our emotions control us maybe matagal na kami'ng nagkabati. We're just this tough when spitting shit to each other but we're so coward to confront from what's the best to do instead fighting like cat and dog.

"Can we have dinner next weekend?" Tanong ko sakanila nung natapos kami mag drama. Agad naman tumango si Mama.

"Yeah yeah sure," sagot ni Aurie at napaangat ang tingin sa likod ko. "Helden, right?"

Tumango si Helden at ngumiti.

"Sorry for being rude last time... But won't gonna lie, you're good-looking man," Aurie smiled at her. Agad ko naman siya kinurot sa braso kaya napa-aray siya. Pati ba naman sa boyfriend ko?

"I'm just kidding!" Agad na sabi ni Aurie na humalhak kasi inis na inis ako sa kanya.

"Find a boyfriend so you won't felt stuck here," I said and she rolled her eyes. Sana talaga makahanap din siya para sa kanya.
