Official Statement by BigHit:

It has come to our knowledge that earlier today on arrival to Seoul airport, Mono singers Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin began substantial rumours of a relationship after commenting 'daddy' on each other's recent posts.

We, along with Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin, would like to confirm that the singers ARE NOT dating.

Park Jimin commented "We were just making an entrance" when questioned by the Mono manager Kim Namjoon. This was confirmed by Kim Taehyung and Kim Seokjin.

"TAEHYUNG! JIMIN!" A voice rose across the Mono dorm as their manager wandered back into their apartment. Slamming a stack of newspapers onto the coffee table besdie the front door, he glared at the two sheepish looking singers from where they had appeared out of their rooms.

"Y-yes...Namjoon-hyung?" Jimin nervously grinned, rubbing the back of his neck anxiously.

The older sighed, instantly relaxing at the sight of the third Mono singer, Kim Seokjin, rounding the corner into view. "For the last time: I told you to make a memorable entrance home. NOT to start a dating rumour."

On the other side of Seoul, a young photographer giggled as he saw the twitter thread from Park Jimin's not-so secret spam account. Of course Jimin and Taehyung had taken their re-entry to Korea to the extreme. It had been two years since Mono had set foot in Seoul and the entire city was buzzing with excitement.

This called for a celebratory post.
