To say that I was nervous would be the understatement of the year. Today marked the first day of my junior year of high school, and rather than choosing to get an adequate amount of sleep to ensure I'd be fully functioning, I instead chose to spend most of my night sitting up and texting the man I had met yesterday. In turn, I was exhausted. Still, I made sure to arrive at school a bit early, electing to walk as it wasn't too far and would give me a chance to explore the town. Once I arrived, I immediately spotted Cassie and Maddy walking across campus with BB, and I jogged to catch up to them.

"Hey!" I called out, falling in stride with Maddy.

"Where did you go last night?" She immediately questioned, pulling me into a side hug. "You totally like disappeared." She left her arm slung around my shoulder

"Oh, I went home not too long after the whole Jules and Nate thing." I smiled sheepishly.

"You walked?" Cassie asked softly.

"Fezco took me home, actually." My face lit up as all three girls stared at me expectantly. "Nothing happened! We just talked a lot...until my mom came outside."

"Did you want something to happen?" Maddy gave me a smirk. I hesitated. Did I want something to happen?

"Do you think my outfit is too much?" I asked quickly in an attempt to change the subject.

"Bitch, you look hot! Like a sexy librarian." Maddy winked.

"Sexy librarian like the fake one you'd find in a porno or sexy librarian like what a desperate teen would call a MILF?" I frowned. Maddy didn't get to reply as Kat approached us from the side.

"Oh, look, it's our new sex-pert." BB smiled. Maddy left my side to throw her arms around Kat in a large hug.

"Congratulations, bitch!" She squealed loudly.

"No way, Kat. Really?" I asked in excitement. Kat spent almost all the time that I known her consistently complaining about the fact that she was still a virgin. Truthfully, I was excited for her. "With who?"

"Oh, I don't remember. Some guy from St. Mary's." She smiled. I had no idea what exactly St. Mary's was, but if I had to guess I would assume it was a local private school. Once I realized the time, I stepped away from the girls beside me.

"I'm gonna go try to find my first class." I gave each girl a hug. "I'll see you guys at lunch, yeah?"

Cassie was a senior, while the rest of us (Maddy, Jules, Rue, Kat, Lexi, and BB) were juniors. We compared schedules just days before, and while we mostly had the same classes, I found myself taking a few different electives and leaving myself with an open free period just before lunch. Maddy was in my first period, but I sensed that she'd have a bit more gossiping to do and I desperately needed to learn how to find my way around the school. I was pulled from my thoughts as my phone rang from my backpack.
