Eres una persona maravillosa, si miras más allá de la melancolía. Estoy un poco borracha

He muttered a translation spell under his breath, guilt filling him entirely before being flushed from his being as he read You are a marvellous person. Theo smiled. He spent a disproportionate amount of time resenting Maddie's grip on him. Then there were moments he forgot. He forgot it all.

Theo forgot who he was, how he had killed five people and one muggle, the fact he was a Nott, how he never got what he wanted, how he had hurt people he cared about, how softness and sweetness were things he was undeserving of.

I'm in Italy right now. Abuela is performing at an opera house in Rome, makes me think of you. There are statues everywhere. I do not know why, but you strike me as the sort of person who prefers Roman mythology to the Greek cosas.

Theo's cheeks burned.

You would walk into ruins and think, if this is based in history the myths should be as well. Diana is a far more realistic name than Athena. Huzzah. Now I'm off to kick a puppy and buy Noceda flowers to give her emotional whiplash. Wahoo.

Maddie had been drunk while writing this he was sure.

Dearest, darlingest, querido, Nott I miss you. I want you to take that beautiful head out of your culo and stop avoiding me like the plague.

Gracias.

Atentamente,

M. D. N.

P.S.

I am only a little tipsy. Only a little. Theodore Nott is a wonderful name. People should call you Teddy Nott. Because you are warm like a teddy bear but your face never changes. Like the teddy bears at gringo department stores that are soft and welcoming but you cannot touch. Mi Teodoro. More like Te adoro.

Theo was reduced to a melted puddle of a boy cheeks pink as he cut the drawings from her letter before burning any proof they belonged to her.

And Theo forgot.

Maddie. Maddie was here. Theo ran a hand through his hair. It was a healer at St Mungo's' birthday. His grandmother's old healer, Lilian Travers. She was a remarkable woman, and Theo merely came to bring her a card and a cupcake from the bakery down the street.

"You are too sweet, Theodore." Said the healer, she had a kind plump face and a disorderly office. There was a clipboard out with the name, 'Madelena Noceda'. Maddie was here, and Maddie was hurt.

"Yes. Just. I've known you a long time, and last year I did not bring cake." Said Theo, eyes caught on Maddie's name, trying to see what had happened to her.

Unfortunately Healer's used symbols unique to the trade on their charts. He did not know what any of it meant.

"Thank you. You're grandmother was one of my favourite patients. I do miss her." Said Healer Travers. "And you of course. Which is why this is so kind of you."

Theo nodded in agreement. He was kind but he was not humble.

"I must be honest, Healer Travers, I am not without ulterior motive." Said Theo.

The old woman laughed. A jolly sound which reminded Theo of a seal.

"I have missed how you speak, young Mister Nott. Tell me. What is your," She cleared her throat, "Ulterior motive."
