Grace and Connor used to date, but for some reason they broke up. People were left confused by this. They were perfect and insperable.
After about two months of their break up, Grace dated Thomas. Connor never expected she would move on that fast. Connor himself never moved on from her even though he was the one who broke it off.

He was strolling outside the coffee shop he used to go on dates with Grace. Something caught his eyes. Grace was having a date with Thomas. They were laughing and being all lovey-dovey.
Grace looked even happier than when she was with Connor. That broke his heart to pieces. He shouldn't have these feelings, but you can't force feelings can you?
"I knew one day you'd fall for someone new, but if he breaks your heart like lovers do," Connor said, looking at them with sadness. "Just know that I'll be waiting here for you."
Why wouldn't he be sad? His world was falling apart right in front of him. He was still looking at her. "As always, she's so beautiful," Connor said.
Thomas was one lucky guy to have a girl like her. Before Connor left he looked at Grace for the last time. "I guess you look happier, I wish I could tell you how much I love you for the last time."
Grace subcounciusly looked at where Connor was just standing. She could see a glimpse of his jacket, but just a little bit.
She felt like she recognized that jacket. Suddenly all her memories with Connor came back. All the nights they spent together, all the dates, the talks, kisses, everything.
"Connor?" she thought.
