Kathrin's POV

"Yeah, it was hilarious."

I expected a reply from Grey, but there was none. That was really odd of him. I turned my eyes to him and I was met with the sight of him gazing at something else...

Not really something, but someone.

Mia

My expression changed, why couldn't he look at me like he looked at her?

That's not gonna happen, she's so gorgeous and I'm just a normal person.

"Grey!" I called him.

"Greyson!"

He was too lost in her.

Greyson liked her, I knew that. He knew that. Everyone knew.

What everyone didn't know was I had fallen in love with him.

Author's POV

Grey's expression changed to bitterness and jealousy as he was met with the sight of Mia talking to a guy, Noah.

Grey was extremely jealous and he didn't hide it.

'What does she see in him?' He thought.

"Earth to Grey," Kathrin said, slightly shoving him.

"Y-yeah." His attention was back at her.

"What were you looking at?" She questioned.

"Nothing." He lied, not wanting Kathrin to know.

Of course she wasn't convinced by what he said. "Let's just go to class," Grey said, trying to get Mia out of his mind.

-

After school they normally walked home together, but Greyson was looking unusual. He was not looking cheerful like he usually would.

"Are you okay? You look odd," Kathrin said.

"Yeah, I'm completely fine," He responded to her question.

She was not convinced with his reply. "Is it because of Mia?"

Grey stopped in his tracks. "How'd you know?"

She chuckled, "The way you look at her at school, it's pretty obvious."

"I have a crush on her," He stated.

Kathrin's POV

At last he said it to my face. I was heartbroken. I mean I already knew, but it felt really bad when he confessed directly

"But she has a boyfriend," I said.

His gaze changed again, jealousy was written all over it.

"I don't care!" He snapped. "I'll make her like me! I'll do anything to make her fall in love with me."

The sight of him like this frightened me.

"Are you out of your mind? You're crazy! You can't force feelings, Greyson!" I exclaimed. "Why don't you focus on something that is right in front of you!? This is not you! What the he-"

Slap

He slapped me. I held my cheek, I couldn't believe what just happened. "What's gotten into you? I... I don't know who you are anymore. I never want to see you again."

I walked away, leaving him.

I couldn't believe he just did that to me, all because of some girl. All I wanted now was to forget about my feelings for him.

As I arrived home I locked myself in my room. I didn't want to see anyone. I was heart-broken, I felt like my whole heart is torring apart.

"Motherfucking piece of shit!" I throw my pillow to the wall.

Author's POV

She threw lots of items on the wall. It sounded like someone's scuffling inside, but it was just her.

-

Next day, Kathrin wasn't at school. She didn't want to see Grey after what happened. He pretended that he didn't care, but deep down he did.

"Grey, why is Kathrin absent?" Mia asked him.

"I don't know, she didn't tell me," He responded.

Mia was going to leave, but Grey stopped her. "wait."

"Hmm?"

"I.. like..." He was going to confess, but... something stopped him.

"Huh?"

"I like your hair." He complimented.

Mia thanked him and left.

He was going to confess, but the image of Kathrina was replaying in his mind. He tried calling her several times, but she didn't answer. Possibly because she was still mad.

"Shit." He mumbled.

-

He went to her house after school. Grey knocked on the door, hoping Kathrina would be the one to open it. The door opened showing her mom behind it, "Good afternoon, Grey. What brings you here today?"

"Is Kathrin home?" He asked.

"Yeah, she's upstairs. Come in." She said, welcoming him inside. "did you have an argument with Kathrin? She won't come out of her room."

Grey rubbed the back of his hair, "Something like that, is it okay if I go to her room?" He asked for permission.

"Of course you may." She permitted him.

He went upstairs to her room. As he reached her door room, he got anxious. Grey knocked on her door.

Knock! Knock!

"Come in!" A voice said from inside the room.

He slowly turned the door knob and opened the door. "Kathrin?"

"Grey? What are you doing here? I don't want to see you!" She demanded. "get out of my room!"

Kathrin had her guard up. She hated him so much.

"Let me explain.. please..." He begged. "I know what I did was wrong, I'm sorry. Let me explain and make things right."

The logical thing for Kathrin to do was saying no and kicking him out, but... she doesn't play by logic. "fine, what do you have to say?"

"I'm sorry for the stuff I did yesterday, I shouldn't have done that. I apologize for what I did. It's okay for you not to forgive me, I'd understand that." He apologized.

"Any other things?" Kathrin asked, she looked outside the window.

"...would I be a jerk if I told you I like you?" Grey said, he was playing with his fingers. Being nervous. He knew by saying this he's already a jerk. Kathrin was silent for a few seconds, "W-what?"

"I... like you..., I know it's a jerk thing and very immature. But you can't force feelings, right? I realized that I never really liked Mia, I was just admiring her. I was a fucking jerk for not realizing that you were right in front of me." He said. "I don't expect you to do anything about my feelings, I just want to confess and let it out. I know I'm an ass-"

Kathrin smashed her lips onto Grey's. Her hands wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer. She pulled away, "I love you."

No matter how many times Grey broke her heart, she would go back to him. Kathrin loved Grey that much. Their foreheads softly meet. "I love you too, Kathrin." Grey stated.
