"Owch! I'm truly hurt," Cardan pouted before he grabbed the girl's arms and pulled her to the dance floor.

"I don't dance," She mumbled.

"You do now!"

The music was loud. A mixture of Flo Rida and Madonna was playing with the occasional Brittney Spears or even Eminem. Cardan wasted no time to start dancing and making Eurydice at least have a little movement.

"Regulus!" Eurydice laughed as she bumped into the boy after Cardan had given her a spin, "What a surprise seeing you here."

Regulus caught one of Eurydice's arms to stop the spin as Cardan grinned wickedly, "I didn't know he had finally managed to drag you to parties."

"It's her fifth!" Cardan exclaimed over the loudness of the music, "I'm surprised to see you here."

"Yeah, well, felt like getting out," Regulus muttered, his words barely audible.

"Hey there, pretty boy," A girl gripped onto Cardan's arm, "Wanna go somewhere a little more private?" She bit her lip as a grin formed.

Cardan let out a low whistle, "Hell yeah. Reg, you got her?"

"I can handle myself," Eurydice huffed.

Regulus let out a small laugh, "Yes. I've got her, Cardan."

"Alright, after you Miss," Cardan fake bowed at the girl before he eagerly followed after her.

"He's such a womanizer," Regulus couldn't help but comment.

Eurydice turned her head to the boy. She couldn't help but let out a laugh at his words.

"What? You know it's true," Regulus draped an arm over her shoulders as he guided her off of the dance floor.

She rolled her eyes, surprisingly letting him guide her away, "Be glad I'm not trying to beat the shit out of you."

"You wouldn't. I'm the only one who understands your silent answers," Regulus muttered in her ear.

"Very true," She nodded as she winked.

It was peaceful. The overwhelming darkness raked over Eurydice's room. It was January 17th, and four high-alert demigods were under one roof. The fifth, aka Cardan who had been crashing with the few for a few days, was wherever the hell he happened to end up.

"What the fuck!" Eurydice yelled as she paced her living room, the demigods and group of newly exposed vampires seemingly tense.

"You need to calm down," Alice spoke softly, "You aren't seeing this clearly."

"Eurydice, we're going to be late," called out her brother.

"You are monsters, see, this is why you've both been off," Kaz looked between the twins.

"Monsters? That isn't exactly-" Emmett was cut off.

"Gods, it isn't safe here for us."

"Why are we staying here? We should be leaving this fucking town," Kaz yelled as Eurydice ran her fingers through her curls, "I may somewhat trust the Cullen's but if they're right about others we aren't safe." Kaz went on.

"It is! We are going to protect you," Rosalie looked a bit annoyed, "Eurydice, I'd never hurt you, and neither would they. There are some who would though."

"Let them fucking come, everything else tries and dies," She snapped.

It had been an accident how the family had truly found out about the Cullen's. A small accident had happened at a party, Alice had seen it coming and got the demigods out of the party before they would be taken in by law enforcement. The rest of the Cullen's had already been at the Kane-Lightwood residence knowing that the family needed an explanation. One that they were owed at this point.
